Transfers Summer 2026 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Bentancur’s performances under RDZ are what made him worth persevering with for the next year in my mind.

Showed an element of composure that a lot of the others lacked in the run-in.

I ultimately agree on Maddison but I think the CM situation is the biggest problem.

They aren’t good at protecting the fence, nor do they pass through the thirds, nor do they put our attackers (limited as they are) in favourable positions.
Fine to keep Bentancur but the chances of him not missing months through injury is pretty low

You’d do a better job than Lange

The only change I’d make is being willing to cash in on Bentancur this summer if we can replace him with a Baleba type player. Then you can sign Wharton as the ball playing 6 because Baleba gives you the running for balance

Start next season with:

Wharton
Baleba
Scott
Gray

Then
Gallagher moonlighting as a 10
Maddison
Eventually Simons

Aaaand, this will be unpopular but we need to see what Maddison is really going to be capable of physically. Maybe go back for MGW if he’s not going to playing regular 90mins
I can't imagine a world where we get Wharton or Baleba, let alone both. I think we'll sign Palhinha, keep Bentancur, sell Sarr and get a Bissouma replacement who's good on the ball.

Scott's a good dribbler and carrier but I don't know if he offers much else outside of that in midfield.

This post really made me laugh. Just the 250+ million worth of midfielders for you then yeah?

Not really interested in realistic

If ENIC want to beat City, Liverpool and Woolwich then they need to act like them.

Wharton
Baleba
Rashford
Osimhen

That’s the kind of transfer window those clubs can expect from their owners. I’m expecting the same

Waste of time passing to our attackers....we desperately need to buy a 15+ goal scorer...not sure who though...

Exactly this. He was quality and has everything, needs to be partnered with the right player.

Dorrington and Kota are going back out I suspect. Philips is an odd one, he is a really good championship probably lower half premier league CB. Club will need to make a call on him. He should easily get £10-15m in a sale.
We need to sort out our youngsters, either give them a chance or move them and not waste their careers like we have to so many before.

And the most promising need to stay with us, and get RDZ to develop them. Would rather have one of the best coaches in the world bring them through, rather than some relegation fodder like Oxford.
