Ah right not heard that. If he's another romero etc then no thanks. None of the lwf options available to us are guaraneed world beaters but rashford has done well at barca, summerville had a good 2nd half of the season and savinho did well in spain but ddone nothing in pl. Mitomo might be another shout but he's getting on a bit now for the money theyd want.
I think Rashford is a pipe dream. I fully expect Carrick to bring him back into the fold, and Rashford would likely welcome that. His recent season with Barca would, at the very least, make Carrick think he's potentially getting a mature and firing Rashford with his desire back.

I seriously can't see Rashford going anywhere.

A lot of consistency from Twitterati and media outlets saying Andy Robertson (LB) and Marcos Senesi (CB) are 'done' although 'subject to formalities'. I doubt we get a club announcement for a week or two.

They may be the best of the 'free transfers' we are interested in, so I think we probably move on to players we pay fees for - but so far a lot of names but no consistency, so likely to be speculation rather than fact.

With World Cup going on, I think we need to hear consistently we are going after say 2 players (we probably need minimum of 2 forwards and a creative midfield player) by mid June...... after that players will be at WC and WC managers don't want the players distracted by club contracts ! Of course agents will be doing negotiations with Spurs, but things will slow down as agents will want to agree details with 'their' players. We also need to hear news of outgoing players

Spurs usually begin pre season training on 1 July and PL kicks off in mid August, so plenty of time .... but I think Roberto will want most business done before end of June and start of preseason

Just saw this....And it suddenly struck me...
Tottenham Hotspur are going to make another attempt to sign West Ham United winger Crysencio Summerville.

❌No contact has been made yet to the Championship side.

I did a double take... The Championship club is West Ham!

It just hit home how fucking close we come to being that Championship club!

Rashford wil be a terrible signing. Not questioning his talent but his attitude. He puts in the effort if the dressing room has bigger dogs than him. Othewise down tools. May be De Zerbi can reign him in. But he is a 300k a week expensive risk thats not needed.

He’s as close to a guaranteed goalscorer as you can get though for a side that has so few goals currently. For 30m he’s a snip. He might have a point to prove after Barca dropped him for Gordon too.

He's not worth the hassle, and his wages are silly. Lack of work, scoring goals in that Barca side doesn't make me too excited either. He's done well there, no doubt, but please, God no. A loan, I could stomach. But when a manager wants him to put in lots of work, it doesn't tend to bode well.

If we're truly trying to change the culture here, I'd pass.

I know the ride is also fun but i would advise everyone to stay away from Twatter rumours. History showed they are wrong anyway in nearly every case. At least i hope so hearing names like Summerville or Gimenez...

He’s not the greatest presser that’s is true but the later years at United were more complicated than that.

I thought Grealish would be a disaster lastsummer but he was great for Everton before he got injured. Sometimes a player just needs a home and a manager to believe in them.
