Why not..
No, why waste more effort on another CB? Senesi and Vuskovic are enough of addition and Romero is still around. Its the last position we need another one.

He’ll be going to Barca or Bayern I’d imagine.
Petrovic is a massive upgrade over Kepa. And yet Senesi has been integral in the Bournemouth side that, for the last 2 seasons, has been taking major scalps and only just missed out on CL.
Interestingly enough, with Huijsen in the side 23/24, they conceded 67 goals. Since Senesi took over, they've had lass goals against in both seasons, over 20 less in 24/25.
There may be other reasons why there were fewer goals, but you'd be a fool if you discounted the fact that those 2 seasons are where Senesi has played a huge part in their defensive solidity.
yeah as per this - I'd consider a Konate and/or even Stones/Christensen as experienced HG bakcups
He’s really left footedIs he naturally left-footed, or just two-footed? Maybe he could even turn out at RB for us...
MGW would be a dream signing. Would elevate our side to another level in attack.
Can't see Forest selling him and Anderson, and Anderson is as good as gone to City. SO unfortunately don't see it happening.
One-footed left-footedness, you say?
For everyone else 1 + 1 = 2.Was just about to post this. Helps us a lot because Atleti won't be able to cry poor when they come in for Romero this summer.
Where are Barca getting all this money btw? Aren't they supposed to be cash strapped?
This whole story of Palhinha leaving is being driven by Bola - and Bola is well known for sensationalist headlines and stories in order to drive 'clicks' otherwise known as 'clickbait'
Even as it stands it says Sporting (which Bola tries to promote as a Portugese club) have not yet got anywhere with agreeing a fee with Bayern and despite the headline in English it doesn;t say they have agreed terms with player.
So at best its an 'early stage' transfer story .... it might have legs on but Bola might find other stories to run instead.
BTW closest English paper to Bola is The Sun. Would you believe The Sun every time ?
He scored less non penalty goals than Richarlison this season.I think we’ll probably sign Mateta as the CF. He’s got one year on his deal at Palace. Had a bit of a knee issue last season but came back strong in the last few months. Just a much more direct threat then Solanke.
Not sure what software you’re using but can you do:
Maybe PSG
Winger and a passing DM should be where we spend big this summer because Solanke is still decent when healthy. I'd like to see us go for Pavlidis from Benfica because he's had 30+ goals in each of the last three seasons and shouldn't be that expensive.A perfect concoction of neediness, striker scarcity, and money to blow, continuing our even-year striker pattern. This previously led to vastly overpaying for Richy in 2022, then Solanke in 2024, spending £120m on a crocked striker rotation that was bottom 5 in the PL last season.
Let’s hope we can do better in 2026…
Can't see Marinakis ever signing off on that. He'd do anything to sabotage the move and there is little that man is not capable of
