Are there 50,000 people in the whole of the United States who would pay to see Saudi and Cape Verde?
I am not sure I would pay £200 to sit in the end for that if I lived in the same city. Not considering transit or cost to park

That's a US employment problem, not his.I am sure the waiting staff who are paid nearly nothing will appreciate his stinginess.![]()
I’ve always tipped wait staff in the UK.
I’m with Rab. Don’t want to work for hardly any money? Don’t take the fucking job.I’ve always tipped wait staff in the UK.
My AI chat tells me that it’s customary to tip 10%.
Polite visitors look up and follow local customs.
‘’Rab’ is a dickhead making it worse for his fellow Scots. If he can afford a ticket, he can afford the $3 tip on his breakfast.
So you don’t tip at restaurants? Or cabbies?I’m with Rab. Don’t want to work for hardly any money? Don’t take the fucking job.
Who takes a cab in London? Are you made of money? So you don’t tip at restaurants? Or cabbies?
Didn’t realize that was a thing in Scotland.
I presumed it was Scotland.
Better still don’t serve people with a Scottish accent as they are not going to leave a tip it seems.I’m with Rab. Don’t want to work for hardly any money? Don’t take the fucking job.
I suppose there's a clear out - Americans won't understand a word and will cock up the order, then the Scottish customer can claim the tip has been denied for causeBetter still don’t serve people with a Scottish accent as they are not going to leave a tip it seems.
The thing we do here is we tip when service is good. I tip my barber. He’s a great guy, we chat, he does a good job. He charges £16 and he gets the twenty. So you don’t tip at restaurants? Or cabbies?

Service in Europe is much better than America. In the US it’s so insincere and you KNOW theyre only doing it for the tip.US and Australia (certain places) the only places I have been where tips seemed to be expected, in the sense of the staff relying on them.
I don't object to the system, service in Europe is abysmal, this gives the chance to earn more by delivering a good service. I am sure that certain people tending a bar can do better than they'd do otherwise via the gratuities. I appreciate the drink refillings and such.
What I don't understand is traveling somewhere and knowing the local customs but stiffing the staff who are known to rely on the money. The system is what it is, you're making them serve you for free. Whereas the fee elsewhere is built into your bill and you are paying it in any case.
