We need more then 2.

Kudus, Odobert and Xavi out until Jan, Kulu out until whenever.

Means we will have Tel plus the 2 new signings for half a season unless Moore will be 4th choice.
Has the Kudus January thing been confirmed anywhere? I've seen this mentioned on here a few times now. I feel like this is just a pessimistic guess which posters keep repeating that its now being assumed as fact.

It would be beyond ridiculous if Kudus was out for a full 12 months with what was originally diagnosed as a 2/3 month injury. It would be another freak kulusevski situation. Last I heard was he put off surgery to try and make the world cup. I expect him back early next season.

Kudus should never have been allowed to put off surgery.

Thats alot tbf this with richie solanke and johnson is over 200 mill if i add tel its 240 and odobert wasnt cheap either

You could get 2 elite players for that

The problem is we can't sign the elite players because they don't want to join us.

Plus, we had Levy fucking deals up by penny pinching and offering shit salaries.

Hopefully going forward when the opportunity comes up to sign a Semenyo or someone like that, we can now do it.

But those types of opportunities are rare. It's why I want us to sign MGW, we need to spend big and buy the types of players that will join us and elevate the side, but they will be expensive deals. Rather that then constantly signing potential and most of them flop.

Big time. He's basically flopped at City and they are turning over a huge profit on him.

I want Savinho but he's not the real deal or the finished article. Anything over 50m would be a huge gamble. Especially when he's blocking the path for other young wingers with similar potential (Tel, Odobert, Moore)

Disagree. Football inflation is very real. Buying Richy or Solanke would cost us £70m plus these days. Palace spent £50m on Strand Larsen last summer.

And I’ve no doubt we will give him a sizable pay raise on his £75,000 “ a week. Failing upwards.
I read an interesting article. (not sure where now) on our pay structure
While we won’t pay top wages to get the very top players, we overpay second-tier players to come to Spurs by which I mean, players like Solanke or Xavi. Essentially, we are paying a Tottenham Tax without even realizing it. The worst of all worlds.
