Either Poch needs to rotate, or we need 26 new players
I'm not ITK or psychic, but if I had to guess I'd say that the root of this problem is that players who will be sold in the summer are now fully aware that they'll be sold. Hence they don't give a fuck.

If that's the case, then it's not great man management by Poch (especially as this was a strong suit of his in the first half of the season) but it is another reason to look forward to next season.

nope. just want some fight, heart & a gameplan.

So we didn't have a gameplan or fight when we beat Chelsea?
You believe the players on the pitch weren't trying today?

By all accounts Poch's training regime, especially pre season is legendary and there's a multitude of details on how he analyses games and players performances.......

But if the guy doesn't have the players he needs and I think we can all agree on that, then we can hardly expect wins every match or even decent performances.

He's working with what we have right now. A lot of youth too which will sometimes be brilliant, sometimes off par.

I trust that Poch will learn more from these games than the 5-3 against Chelsea. And hope that next season.... a time to have more expectation, will see a lot of changes - but even then, we'll still lose games

Rodgers finished his first season at Liverpool on 61 points...
:pochsmirk:

But they did look better towards the end of that season that we do right now.
:pochfacepalm:

Hello mouse mouse how are you doing?

Pretty shit. My highlight so far was stealing free WiFi from first class on the way down.

Fucking turgid, diluted, soulless, commercialised match day experience all round really. Yet the ground Is full of images telling us that it's all about passion, glory and not to forget to buy our tickets for Spurs Vs Malaysia XI.

Can't fault the players really, when the crowd is that listless. Even the villa fans where half dead until they scored.

I made a vow to never go to a non 1882 game ever again a couple of seasons back. I should have stuck to it.

Anyone claiming people are happy about this...lets get this fucking straight you cretins.

The people who KNEW this would happen are FUCKING LIVID and have been for MONTHS.
You fucking happy clapper cunts, sucking Poch off for weeks and weeks.

YOU are the people happy with our game.
YOU are the people who think that the manager has perfect reasons for his "tactics" and selections.

You cheeky fucking cunts. Get fucked, and take another zen moment in your lives to excuse this fucking piece of shit "performance".

Cunts

Only conceded one goal in 2 games mate.

Solid defensively.

True lol,
But 2nd season and they're only level on points with us (game in hand tho lol, but hardly groundbreaking) despite all our changes and losses of players plus a massive 51 games played.
And lets be honest, they aren't having to play so many youths, possibly have more finances/resources which you'd expect to kick in on a managers 2nd season

The last performance I was happy with was the Liverpool away game , although we lost we played well , were always in the game and were unlucky to take nothing from the game IMO.
Since then it's been one fucking shambolic performance after another, and the football has been as boring as fuck.
That's how I have seen it and guess what ?
I'm not fucking happy, so there.:paulinhobored:

Fucks sake ladies..........

Poch's first season!
Many players not of his choosing!
Limited by a strict Levy bound transfer/recruit policy!

Recently lost a lot of our best best players!

.....
Spot on post, but see ... that's the problem.

How many times have we been in this situation now.
Different season, but pretty much same shit. We just have too many mediocre players.

Once people start to fault ENIC/Levy,others are still gonna say ... look what they have done ... and look, we are building a stadium ... etc etc. But the fact is that every year, teams are earning more and more money, yet Tottenham still is spending like it's in debt. Not even that .... but instead of the manager's choice, we almost always get an alternative. And instead of 1 or 2 in quality, we on the other hand go for quantity. And to make matters worse, the consequences of all that might mean losing our best players (albeit it not completely being in our control). Guess what? It's gonna be more or less the same again this Summer.

I think we're due a change on a more fundamental level.

Levy didnt play Vlad at RB for 80 minutes
I know you think Dier would do better as RB but Dier himself gave up on that position for English youth team ... that says a lot. We saw Dier in that role and he wasn't stellar ... please don't make Vlad the scapegoat for this because there were plenty of others ahead of him in the blaming order.
Other than that, I can agree that Poch made mistakes, on this match and before, and I've read some valid posts of yours but the one I've quoted isn't one of them.

Gooner troll.

The real issue I am seeing is that the front attacking 3 (Eriksen, Chaldi, Townsend) are just so off their game.

This means we can't press as we cannot hold onto the ball, we can't feed our season saviour Harry Kane and we get overrun to easily. I know Mason looks tired and should be rested and the defense has issues but for me it's the attacking three that causes so many problems at the moment.

I would like us to move Eriksen to the left for the next game, get Dembele in the central role and Lamela on the right, it should add more balance and both Demeble and Lamela can play in tight spaces more than Chaldi and Townsend.

The attacking 3 has been the issue since the NLD, it doesn't look right and to me
It's far more of a difficulty than Bentaleb-Mason combo behind them.

We are in very good position. We are by far the best of the rest. We have a stadium on the way that will be world class and will compete seat wise with any in the league. We have no debt. We have been competing around the top six for well over a decade now.

Yes, it's frustrating to still be the nearly men. But unless we suddenly get an oil rich investment, this is who were are and where we are. People need to step back and realise that.

For all the criticism that can be leveled at Levy & Co, and there are many, how many other teams in the league can boast what I've just outlined?

The problem is that fans how no perspective anymore. They've tasted Champion's League and now think that anything less is a disgrace, to say nothing of the assumption that we have some sort of God given right to win a cup every year.

People need to step back and realise that we've actually not got it so bad. Sherweasel can gloat about today's results, and his fans can kiss his arse, but I'll tell you, I'd still much rather be a Spurs fan today than I would a Villa fan worrying about relegation and future investment.
