Haven't been able to read through the entire thread due to being at the game itself, but...
Leicester is an absolute shithole. Even in the sunshine it's crap. It's the most bland, boring, ugly and pointless city in England and probably on a par with Reading in terms of worth visiting i.e. it really isn't. Their ground is about as interesting as the city: a shit, cheap, characterless, one-tiered box. The locals were quite noisy in the stadium but given there is fuck all else to do in Leicester, I guess they try to make the most of 90 minutes once a fortnight for 2/3 of the year. Our support was pretty good but it did get a bit quiet at various stages when they looked to be on top, despite our possession.
I'm amazed at the stats quoted on e.g. chances and shots as I really felt like we were on the back foot for most of the match, and we never really looked like scoring. Our squad is light but it's young. We need some signings and I'm sure something will happen before the end of the transfer window, or else we're fucked. We can pass the ball a little bit, but there's not enough pace, not enough of a cutting edge, not enough creativity, physically we seem (apart from Moussa) to lack strength and get too easily outfought and out-muscled, however much Mason tries to scythe down opponents.
I know it's a young team, early in the season, lacking a few signings etc etc... but if I'd just come out of a coma and someone told me AVB was still in charge, I wouldn't be at all surprised. We're not great to watch. Kane is going to be broken by October at this rate. Quite what is going through Lloris' mind right now is anyone's guess... but he is absolutely immense and deserves better than this.
