We are the real deal but we are vulnerable. We are just a hammy away from having a big dent in our attack if Harry pulls up. January will be crucial. If we don't get solid back up for Kane then fate could really do us in.
But if you could look into the future and say we go all season with an injury free Kane then we are top 4 contenders for real.
6th or better, as long as we are in Europe in either tourney.
It's a bit surprising this optimism. We are 5th in the table, not 1st. I think we'll end up in 5th-7th, but we'll be much happier with the way we got there than the last few years. So far we're not winning enough games to break in to the top four. If we start turning those draws in to wins though..
Klopp has 3 top class forwards, 1 quality back-up and 1 under-study
We have essentially one quality forward unit and 2 under-studies
If Levy and Poch make the same mistake in January Redknapp did many a times and refuse to strenghten upfront - there's little hope, imv
I think we'll go one better than top four and challenge for those title, so I'd be happy with top four. Less than that and I'll be disappointed. But that's not to say I'd be calling for the managers head, far from it. At the start of the season I expected nothing as it was a transition season, so I'd accept it, but Poch has corrected problems in the right order and much quicker than I expected: the defence, the mentality and team togetherness and that's resulted in our run. Yes, a lot of draws but Poch started by making us difficult to beat and winning comes a bit later. There are other things to improve but he's building from the bottom up and I expect us to start winning more games as he works on other areas of the team.
Nothing less than 5th and a cup win preferably the EL but top 4 must take priority!

justin what you fail to realise is the way the game has gone in recent years. You NEED cl football to attract and more importantly KEEP your players. With a new stadium to pay for and a very promising squad of young players we are better off qualifying for the cl than winning an fa cup, it makes me sad to say that but its true for longevity and the overall state of our club.
Top 4 on a consistent basis would turn to challenging for titles quickly if done right as well and thats where i want us to be, not just 'a cup team' which we aren't even any more.

Being in the cl does not guarentee you keeping your best players.....Woolwich fans will tell you that.....being in the cl does not guarentee you challenging for your domestic league title either....Woolwich will tell you that aswell.
Look at liverpool, they have been obsessed with this competition since they were last in it. A competition that they ridiculously believe they belong in. They finally got to play in it again last season....what happened ? They went out in the group stage, not only that, they fielded a weak side in the last few games in it, to concentrate on trying to qualify for it again....is that not insanity ?
Ifwe get in it great, but to prioritise it over domestic honours is madness. The sooner they take away 4th place from the pl the better in my opinion. Take 3rd away as fucking well as far as im concerned. Its a joke of a competition. Fucking thing !

you're missing out the important phrase I used though, if done right!
them two have been at it years, arse seem happy enough to qualify every year but lets be fair here-they've finished ahead of us every season for too long to even repeat!
If we did it right and kept in there progressing every year we could be a big boy finally, I can't be the only one to think that.
Don't get me wrong, I love the cups and winning trophies-being at Wembley being the chav cunts in 08 is one of my greatest days of being a spurs fan BUT what happened after that cup win??
We fucked the rest of that season and we drew two games and lost 6 start of the next and went backwards.
