Manager Mauricio Pochettino

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I think this is more than media speculation I'm afraid.
Best case scenario: we keep Poch, qualify for champs league, go from strength to strength and win plenty of silverwear.
Worse case (Spurs) scenario: Poch's already tapped up, the side knows this, our forms collapses and we finish 5th behind West Ham with no manager for the new season.
But why would he want to go? He's barely even started here, has a very exciting project going and has the chairmans support. The club will soon have a 60k stadium which allows for much greater funds. It's very exciting times for Tottenham, surely he can see that himself

He's only being used as a bargaining chip in the negotiations with Conte.

There are unfortunately a number of reason: money, money, money, and money.
I'm not saying he is greedy, but he is undoubtedly ambitious. If you have the kind of transfer kitty Chelsea enjoy, his chances of winning major titles over the next five years are greatly improved. His style of football is also attritional, so you need a big, quality squad for that.
We may have a new stadium in the works, but as with Woolwich, it hits the finances, and Mr Levy will keep a tighter reign than ever before to ensure the club doesn't go into debt (and compromise his investment).
If I were Poch, I would be thinking about the future, his stock is high. And as much as I hate to say it, there is no loyalty in football (a lesson Spurs fans seem unwilling to learn).
But I hope I'm very, very wrong.

His 100th game tonight.

I love Poch and the way he has created a genuine united 'one club' feel throughout everything that is Tottenham Hotspur FC, from the boardroom to the squad and through to the fans too. It is amazing to see where we have come in a year and a half from the disjointed shambles of the AVB-Sherwood era (or, error...). If we finish in the Top 3 it will be a monumental achievement, and will make the admittedly very disappointing cup exits this season far more acceptable.

We're only 1 1/2 seasons into his tenure here and the team is far from complete... He needs more time. Poch has got our defence playing well, now it's time for the attack to gel

Oh i wish he could find the right rotational balance, it seems to be all or nothing with him.

I can get that he doesn't want to risk injuries, but the amount he rests people is probably less than they'd spend on the sidelines if they did pick up a niggle.

At least that way you'd be slotting in one player into a well oiled machine, rather than chucking in the utter tripe we saw last night.

I love him too. I can't remember a time when I felt more happy with the manager.
I liked Shreeves, Venables, Martin Jol and Harry. Pleat did some interesting things and was building something good.
Loved Ossie and Hoddle, but not as managers really.
The Badger was alright, Gross was dealt a bad hand, Ramos was a disaster, and the less said about Graham the better, I don't know what they were thinking there. Santini came and went so fast it is hard to have an opinion.
I would put Poch above all of those though. The last time it felt this right was Burkinshaw.

Another reason Poch might leave this summer: third season syndrome, ala Mourinho.
Poch has equally high (if not higher) expectations of his players in terms of workload.
Many of the players are going to the Euros. Double training sessions after that (not such a problem for the England players but maybe for the Belgiums who will actually get through the group stages).
Poch may struggle to replicate this season's form without new investments in players. The Q is: will Levy agree to this?
I'm still 50/50 but the more our form collapses, the more likely I think Poch might be off.

Levy would have a revolution on his hands if he didn't back Poch not that I think Poch needs much. Levy has to have learned by his mistakes by now & he must see how much the fans like Mauricio .

He'll be here for quite a while in my opinion .
