So we are stuck in a purgatory like environment where we have to be ultra shrewd with our purchases and finances and try and pick up underrated players like Modric, Berbatov, Bale, Sandro etc for decent prices and hope the gamble pays off.
Then of course we have to try and keep them when the Champions League regulars come calling... That's the next step I suppose.
