Has he turned up for pre-season? Not seen him in any photos. All gone a bit quiet really, he been linked with anywhere?

It looks like Levy is not going to give Spurs legend Aaron Lennon his due with a proper testimonial. If so it will be a terrible injustice :avbwtf::sherwoodwtf::adewtf: :vertna:

Read that Levy values Lennon at £9m. That might be a little steep but then his form for Everton certainly indicated he is a valuable player, whether that is for Tottenham or someone else remains to be seen but I don't think £9m is that daft.

Aaron Lennon has been sent to train with Tottenham Hotspur’s kids as he waits on a move away from the club.

Along with Emmanuel Adebayor, winger Lennon is training away from head coach Mauricio Pochettino’s first-team squad.

Instead the pair are maintaining their fitness with Tottenham’s Under-21s after being told there is no way back for them in Pochettino’s first-team plans.

Lennon looked throughly delighted to be joining Everton on loan

Lennon has not been completely frozen out as he is still using the first-team dressing-room, but it is a disappointing end to the 28-year-old’s 10 years at the club.

Having spent four months of last season on loan at Everton, during which time he scored twice in 14 appearances, Lennon could return to Goodison Park on a permanent transfer but chairman Daniel Levy’s initial £9million asking price has held up a deal.

Adebayor is also almost certain to leave Spurs

That valuation will have to drop as the transfer window progresses and West Ham are also interested in Lennon as a possible alternative to Everton’s Kevin Mirallas, who the Hammers have had two rejected bids for.

Former England international Lennon joined Tottenham from Leeds United as a teenager in 2005 and he has gone on to make well over 300 appearances for the club.

Lennon started last season at Spurs under Pochettino, but quickly fell out of favour as the Argentine preferred Erik Lamela, Nacer Chadli and Andros Townsend in the wide roles.

Pochettino is also still hoping to sign another wide forward this summer, with Timo Werner, Clinton N’Jie and Victor Moses all on his radar, which would push Lennon even further down the pecking order.

Like Adebayor, Lennon has one year remaining on his Spurs contract but it seems Pochettino is determined he will not see it out at White Hart Lane.

Adebayor is expected to complete a season-long loan move to Aston Villa, which will effectively end his Tottenham career.
