The Italian answer to Nagelsmann. Had more or less no playing career but highly rated for his potential as a manager/coach.

He used to be a goalkeeping and later assistant coach for De Zerbi in Italy. But when De Zerbi went to Schaktar he instead struck out on his own in Turkey and most recently managed OGC Nice in the French top flight.

I believe that he is also the first non Dutch manager of Ajax since the 1960s or something like that.
