Can't think of any examples of it happening but presumably you could technically recall him for squad depth while AFCON is on and then re-loan him back to Port Vale at the end of the window so he'll only have played for 2 clubsThe way it's going with our players right now I would think about bringing him back in January.

He will be a PL player IMOMost people said this was a bad spot for Alfie to land.
On a bad team he’s still showing his class. Things you love to see.

He saw the Alex Scott performance and too it personally.
Thought you said he was a no10?Richard Arlison
Keep him there this season. His first loan, first full season of mens football and he's doing well and getting game time, best not to interrupt that. Let Ange assess next preseason whether he's ready to be part of a squad hopefully with European football or whether he needs another loan.

Exactly the kind of thing I love to hear. A football player should be like Benta, Kulu, Porro etc. who bring technique but don't disappear for long stretches of the game the way Son, Johnson or ...Kane sometimes would.**
His best position is probably as a no 10 - although for E u19's he's also played RW as England were over stocked in central players and too few wide players.
Yesterday Port Vale were being overrun in first half so Devine was switched to more of a deep lying playmaker - and the video and touch map reflects that. When we bought him from Wigan he was better known as a deep lying midfield player, its Spurs coaches who seem to have moved him forward.
He's a pretty versatile midfielder good at both passing and tackling, an extremely good motor and willingness to put in a full shift wherever he's playing.
