Reckon this is us done at LB in the short term. We probably want to see how Souza develops on loan and give Udogie another try under RDZ.

Think it's last chance saloon for Udogie now. If he can't stay fit and string some decent performances together we need to look to sell next summer. Really can't see us selling him yet though.
If an offer of 25m comes in for Udogie, are you turning that down? What about 30m?

I wouldn’t be looking to sell, but I also wouldn’t be turning those down. Throw Souza on loan regardless of what happens. If we sell Udogie, bring in a better first choice LB option

If we get a decent enough offer I'd be happy to sell and reinvest. Doubt anyone will come in for him given his injury record, though. More likely to find a buyer if he can actually see out a season without constant niggles and breakdowns.

If we put him up for sale tomorrow, I doubt anyone would bid more than £10m. Constantly broken, and when he is fit, he's hardly a world beater, is he? Can’t cross, can't defend, struggles with basic football, and just passing the ball about. What are his actual strengths again?

He actually plays like an individual, he's not someone who’s going to keep the ball ticking about with some nice one-and-two touch. He plays like an individual but is the exact opposite of someone you'd describe as devastating, lol. Get rid of him and just forget about it, horrible piece of recruitment. Write it off and move on.

It makes me laugh how some people see football.

Getting a leader in who clearly wants to play for us and has been one of the best and most consistent performers in the league and on a free.
Must surely be decent business??

The age has me a little worried but I haven't seen any sign his legs have gone .

What are scousers saying about this?

The arrogance of some Spurs fans to turn their noses up at a player who has won the lot after we've finished 17th is astonishing.

Welcome Andy.

My Liverpool pals have nothing but good things to say about him.

His legs are fine. For now…

As Bob Paisley once said when selling an older player everyone thought he should keep, I want his legs to go when he’s playing for someone else not me.

A wise man right there.

Oh yeah. ENIC right down to work hard and already changing things.... signing the rejects, expired, and freebie players.

Way to go ENIC. Liverpool didn't even bother asking him to stay, but we snatched him from (?).

A Loser will always be a LOSER! Even AI will not change this.

He lost that sheer intensity a few years ago, he's still technically better than anything we have. Robertson was an absolute animal for Liverpool when they were at their absolute best, he was a key player. At 32, your legs aren't going to be as powerful and sharp as they were in your mid to late 20s.

Be nice to have a LB that can actually cross the ball properly!

Wasn’t this know to be happening way before RDZ came ? As long as we stayed up .

So Charringtons notes of learning and new approach was nothing but absolute bollocks … colour me shocked

I’m not particularly against the signing just pointing out that these cunts are full of shite

What?

Udogie is miles clear of Robertson on the ball, the way he receives the ball in the centre of the pitch and plays on the turn is an entirely different level. Who do you think Robertson is exactly? He’s not anywhere near Udogie or Porro technically, and quite honestly I think even Souza has a better touch than him.

Robbo has a great cross on him but he’s a large spaces player even at his peak. He’s a true up and down kick and run style LWB not a technical player at all.

I actually welcome some much needed competition/backup for Udogie, think it's pretty ridiculous we've got this far without another LB he can share mins with.

The way he receives the ball in the centre of the pitch? yeah great, what happens after that? absolutely nothing. Being technical is when you actually affect a game with technique, Udogie cant even cross the ball ffs. Robertson can!

Robertson is a better passer of the ball and striker of the ball than Udogie! Controlling the ball with the outside of your foot doesn't make you a technician.
