2 games to go for Postecoglou.

Get beaten heavily tomorrow and then lose to Rangees, both of which are more likely than not, then only Levy's leniency saves him.

The issue for ne is whether there is confidence that even with necessary reinforcements that Postecoglou has what it takes?

Frank for me, or Potter.

Did you expect to win the league this season?
Did you except us to finish in the top 4 this season?
Did you expect us to win a trophy this season?

Do we settle? I mean;
Would we have replaced Lloris?
Would we spend £100m on one player?

Does it matter who the manager is?
Does it matter who the players are?

Regardless of that, show some decorum when talking about your own club, eh?

No more Chelsea rejects thanks. The only other no-no for me is Southgate (shudder).

Apart from those two I don't really care - spin the wheel and see what happens (again). Sooner or later (probably much later) we may just get lucky.

Levy may as well do that because the searching for months interviewing every man and his dog while Mason and his mates torture us before picking Nuno or Ange approach doesn't seem to work either. Just pick someone and get going.

Sorry to dissapoint you but Ange isnt getting to May. The team is being booed off most weeks, they've started on Levy and we're 10th with Chelsea and Liverpool 2 of our next 3 league games. We've already hit the untenable phase.

No idea what Levy will do, quite probably cheap out again, but he acts when things get uncomfortable. Always has.
Is it just levy though or his stooge Aussie Munn, Ange’s mate? I think Munn should go as well as he has overseen the footballing side which includes Lange and the hiring of coaches. They all need to go. I think Ange sees out season, we line up replacement in the mean time give the youngsters game time. Ange only stays 2/3 years anywhere anyway. Ofc if a top quality replacement is available now then go for it.

Him being high as fuck on his own farts is precisely the reason people are reacting is such an emotive way towards him, a more humble man may have had a little more empathy tossed his way.

But alas…
The decision to go over to the baying mob was a farce and is absolutely the beginning of the end for Ange; a serious person simply does not do that, there is nothing to be gained from that situation.

As for the abuse, yeah, not pleasant and I wouldn't do it myself, but as I wrote yesterday, the guy is bullish, arrogant and aggressive, there's a brooding pallor that hangs over his pressers/interviews etc. And, if you're going to have a go at people, puff out your chest, square up, etc., you do in my opinion forfeit the right to just have a 'polite' conversation. I made a catty remark about his size yesterday which upset another poster but I wouldn't have done it if not for his own belligerence/aggression/taking on the fans which have made me lose a bit of faith in him as a bloke.

The messaging with this guy is just all wrong.

I don't understand attacking his character or calling him a cunt. Call him an idiot if you want I suppose, but he really isn't one. Call him a manager out of his depth at this level, I'll agree. But abusing the manager in a foul way doesn't help us today or when we need to attract the next, and it ought to be beneath a club of high standing.
What makes you believe that?

Is it because he has made it to the upper echelons of football and therefore that invalidates the reasoning behind him being an idiot?

If that’s the case, I have news for you, there are PLENTY of successful idiots.

When you start using things like fat it becomes much more personal and vindictive, so yes, will cut deeper. In the same way if you call a black person a black cunt it's much worse than just calling a cunt that happens to be black. If you have no idea what i'm talking about then you've never been bullied.

The term cunt on here is largely desensitised here anyway. I'm not a pearl clutching puritan by any means. I'm sure i've called all sorts of people like refs and gooners, cunts. They might end up seeing it, however it's unlikely. However this is a man who is part of our club and trying - despite what some people think - to bring us sucess with the style of football that all us wanted. It's not just hyperbole on a forum, people are now screaming it to his face from the stands.

Even if you're so emotionally broken you can't see why screaming at someone trying to their job that they're a fat cunt is wrong, then at least try and understand that abusing him, or any of our players, isn't going to improve the results.
The personal abuse is out of order but there's no equivalence between calling someone overweight and racism.

I’m not really Ange out as I’m fed up of us constantly firing managers & never correcting the main problem at the club but I’ve just been watching Alister Gold and he got a quote from Ange saying “ they got younger players in as you can not replace experience with experience because that is not a rebuild “

What the fuck is he on about ? This constant business flannel of rebuild / transition , it’s a poor excuse . How about improving the bloody squad from the previous season ? That’s just common sense

dont know why rangers is relevant. he should be gone already, but losing tomorrow should be his head on the chopping block. hes wayyyy out of his depth and i think the players are fully aware of him being a charlatan, shouldnt be anywhere near this level of football.

"They"

The Ange-Outers are very vocal here after a loss and are perhaps over-represented in "the room". After a win it's different.

If you look at the corresponding thread on another Spurs message board you'll get a more positive vibe. That's probably skewed by censorship: too much vitriol gets you perma-banned over there apparently. But then the banned come to TFC which means they are always going to be over-represented here.

That's very true. The admin over there acts like he's Kim Jung-Un , and is completely clueless about football, always happy claps about the manager, and so if there are any dissenting voices, anyone who prefers to call a spade a spade, is perma banned.

I know people have been banned from there despite donating a fair bit of money to the site, and he bans without hesitation. He's a nasty piece of work.

I was just having a look on there this morning and the place is full of happy clappers. You can see people are scared to come out publicly and go against Ange. It's happening a bit more now, but even months ago when it was clear to some of us the direction of travel under Ange, there was hardly a peep from anyone on there, because they are all scared to be seen as negative.

Anyway just wanted to say this place is a breath of fresh air. Yes sometimes emotions spill over, but we are all Spurs fans and some of us having different views, we should be able to express those views without fear or favour.

And don't get me started on COYS, that place is run by the gestapo. I was actually banned years ago because I posted some breaking news that was reported on Sky Sports in a match thread. I said it was reported that Dele Alli is injured and won't make the match, apparently its against the rules to break news which isn't from an official source. SSN isn't a good enough source apparently. Perma banned. Ridiculous.

People are allowed to feel how they wish about anybody, that's the beauty of this world, you can love people, you can hate people, you can like people, you can dislike people, nobody is entitled to be treated a specific way. What you view as abuse I view as the evolution of humans, we have gone from grunting and bashing each other with rocks to saying bad words to each other, in the grand scheme, I would consider that growth, it's fucked up but it's true.

Sport is also emotive and these things often come from a place in supporters because they are worried about their clubs and use managers and players as an outlet for that frustration, is it right? I am not going to judge, personally wouldn't do it myself at a ground because I think it's pointless and there are better ways to show you aren't happy (like not turning up for games or simply booing) but I understand we are all human and react emotionally at times and that's normal.
I wouldn't go as far to use any sort of swearword for Ange but I do think he comes across as a bit of an oaf at times.

Completely agree with you, like I said previously; you get back what you put out into the world.

The thing is, a confident and wise individual who truly believes in what they are trying to accomplish wouldn’t be so threatened and made to feel so insecure by what a supporter in the stands is saying, it speaks volumes imo about how he really feels about himself.

Like you say, it’s all puffed up bravado; that has been so evident from minute one and yet people are buying what this idiot is selling?

Ignorance and stupidity often go hand in hand as well, so the jump from ignorant to stupid isn’t far fetched imo.

People will say “Oh so he should be abused and not be allowed to respond?” They miss the point entirely, it’s not about censorship, it’s about self control and true belief in what you are doing and I think he lacks both.

It's ridiculous and makes no sense. Of course you can rebuild by signing better players than just kids.

I don't understand how he thought just adding Solanke to the first 11 was enough for this season.

His talent ID and recruitment has been shocking.

I seriously think he didn't realise how high a level the PL is and he's completely lost.

His Celtic exploits can and should be taken with context that Celtic absolutely dominate in that league. So really what he did up there should be taken with tons of salt. It really is nothing to write home about. So after that, we are left with Japan and Australia. yet we still have so many Spurs fans putting so much faith in him, It makes no sense, and I think it's a sign of how beaten down and desperate many have become by Levy, that people can't deal with accepting another manager has turned out to be a dud, so they choose to blindly put faith in him,

Ange is a disaster. Worst Spurs manager since Gross. He's so out of his depth it's unreal.
