Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I want Ange gone desperately, however I don’t want Levy to be a dick about it . You were mug enough to employ the guy on a contract , just pay it up and get rid . Don’t embarrass us even more by trying to get 50 pence of the severance package . Not saying he is doing that but “something is rotten in the state of Denmark” about those photos .

Or a fan who wants rid of Ange thought it would be funny to post them on the internet?

Not saying that’s what has happened but it’s not a good look to put them online.

Question remains, as I saw many suggest nearly every preseason..

Would you rather finish 5th with no trophy, or 14th with the Europa League?

I'm not suggesting the latter will happen, although it's a lot more likely than us finishing 5th. Ange might not be the answer, and it is looking likely that's the way, but every preseason I see people say "I'd take finishing 15th and winning a cup", but when it actually comes to it, the same people are unhappy that we're 14th and still in with a shot of winning cup.

Now if we finish 14th without a cup then obviously it is a disaster, and Ange should rightly be relieved of his duties, but I think we need to actually decide on what we want as fans of the club. Now I know that'll be winning a cup and finish between 1st and 6th for example, but when have we actually proven we can do that in the last 20 years? Only Poch got us close to that.
That’s very much betting the farm on winning it though. And the trade off is that if we win the EL Ange will still be here next season, it would be grossly unfair to sack the guy that delivered the biggest trophy the club has won in 40 years, even if we know he’s shit and the results justify it.

48.2% since last season started.
Take away the first 10 games last season (77 games and 34 wins) that drops to 41.2%
This season PL only - 34%

Iraola.
Currently at 40.2% overall.
This season only in PL 41.4%

As always, single stats don't paint the full picture.
The amount of money available for transfers, the training facilities , players and other things available to both Bournemouth and Spurs have to be taken into account as well.

The League table doesnt lie

Abramaovich wanted to fire RDM after a CL win. Was talked out if it. Fired him 2 weeks later after more chaos.

They came within cuntface slipping as he took a pen to beat MUFC in Moscow. Had the better of the game too. Grant was the manager. Would you have kept him? No chance.

Man U stuck with ETH after their one good prformance, spunked 200m on his transfers and he's gone in 2 months.

If we keep this clown, then we'll be buying his player picks. And he'll be gone by Xmas.

The most annoying thing about Ange besides the awful results and performances and tactics. Ignoring all the incompetence.

Is all the bravado. The “it’s who we are mate”. Coming out with “are you not entertained” after we fluke a rare win despite losing 8 games in a row or something before then, and the immediately losing another 8 games afterwards. Delivering a long sermon when we scrape passed AZ, acting like he’s the godfather of football, and we are all idiots for daring to question him.

He’s just a thoroughly awful man, and incredibly thin skinned. Looking back on that Chelsea game in 2023, alarm bells went off like crazy but I didn’t think it would end up being quite this bad and toxic. He’s arrogant beyond belief, thinking that his way is the only and he should be above questioning.

Kicking off with fans. He clearly has a massive inferiority complex and is now lashing out in all directions as he realises he’s completely out of his depth.

Please Levy put him and us out of our misery and sack the useless clown.
the most annoying thing is that song adaptation of a Robbie Williams song.. there's other things too that you have covered quite well but the "song" is as lame as I've ever heard... there's some bad football nursery rhymes out there but this has been another level. The other whooahh .." his name" ... isn't very good either... IMHO 🕺

It would be grossly unfair, but nothing we're new to. Look at Jose for example. A one off game in a final vs his nemesis.. That's his ideal scenario. Levy wasn't afraid to pull the trigger then (albeit I think he and Jose had fallen out and Levy was showing him who was boss).

All I'm asking is are we going to keep on hoping the next manager is the one who can produce a top 4 finish and win a trophy in the same season, or are we going to have to accept that we can't muster both due to squad quality/depth, and take one or the other?

We all know the real reason, and we can bang on that drum about Levy until the end of time, but he isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

TBH, the idea of winning the ropey league, and that leading to AngeLOSS getting kept on is making me feel fucking sick to the stomach*.

What a way to take all the gloss off a decent cup win AND Champions League qualification.
Because things won't get better next season. It'll be exactly the same.

*We won't win it anyway so it's irrelevant.

does there have to be a drama/stand off/ media fight every week? Calling out fans who like THFC and go and watch them play paying money to do so. It looks as classy as an Aussie soap opera. 💑 entertaining? I don't believe so.

They always say a manager is only ever 10 matches from the sack

Lets give him 17 then. Since that win at Citeh

17 matches, 15 pts.

4 wins:

Saints (!)
Ipswich (!)
Brentford
ManU

ok so thats 2 nailed on for relegation, one with maybe the worst pts total ever in the PL. And ITFC couldve scored 3 in the first 10 mins.

Brentford - stole that one.

3 draws - at home to;

Fulham
Bmouth
Wolves

FFC and AFCB we were well beaten on balance of play. AFCB was a joke.
Wolves at the time almost in the relegation zone. I expect to lose to them soon and also for them to finish above us in the table. Ditto EFC and WHUFC both only a point behind us now.

I've looked at all the losses. I can't think of a single match where we've had the better of the game and deserved to get anything out of it.

Maybe the 1-2 v NUFC, they had a handball in the build up and thems the rules. Gets given sometimes. A draw wouldnt have been unfair on them.

OK thats one point. As against that we've been lucky with 8 eve gained.

Our form is diabolical but what I'm saying is that if you look at the matches closely it could well have been loads worse.

Last 10 home matches, its

1 win
3 draws
6 losses

0.6 pts per game

incudes playing rlegation certs Ips and Leics

17 matches 15 pts

again less than point a game.

All the recent stats are screaming relegation form yet there are bods out there who think it'll all be fine

one clown on twatter said we were better than the likes of Iraola as including all our matches we had a better win %age.

I asked him whether that included Tamworth as a win? No reply obv so the answers yes. These people are in a cult.

Right now I'd bet on us finishing 17th. Kept up only by the worst group of promoted clubs I've seen. ITFC were in Div 1 18 months bfore they got promotion FFS.

I'd bite your arm off for it.

OK theres a risk that he stays but the beginning of next season will be such a fiasco - PL, CL, and the league cup. We'll be dead on our feet come Novemeber and he'll be gone.

I think he'll be gone anyway, either this Int break or more likely during the Summer.

See above, I think we'r fininshing 17th.

Oh, and yes of course I agree that we wont win it. Out to the first decent team, Eintracht. Like England under Waistcoat Man
