Small sample size, but very encouraging.

Fuck me, Conte was such a massive cunt.

And so often it is getting the rub of the green that instills confidence and things grow from there.

Vicario saves in the second half gave us all more confidence in him and him confidence. One slip and the same people who were criticising after the pre season friendlies would jump on his back again.

It's only a small step from growing confidence to collapse. Having said that, I believe Ange is giving the whole team confidences to go out a play and eventually that should continue beyond any short term errors.

Quite refreshing that after the game he was asked about what he said to them at half time and he said he prefers positive reinforcement and so decided to show them what they did right in the last 10/15 minutes of the half rather than the mistakes of the first thirty minutes.

I cant imagine some of our other managers even thinking about doing that :conteshock::mourcry:

As a Celtic fan, I'm gutted and fuming at that performance. But it goes to show what a job Ange did.

One fuck up on a shitty plastic pitch like today, and you've bottled the treble and practically gift-wrapped Rangers a trophy. That kind of thing just didn't happen under Ange. Apart from one extra time cup defeat to Rangers which could have gone either way, he won every domestic game that had something riding on it.

If Ange had been managing today, Kilmarnock would have been out on their feet by 75 minutes after being run ragged. Against Rodgers they looked like they could have held out for another 45 minutes.

Angeball man 🥺 😭
FFS Rodgers won back to back trebles. Calm down.

Reckon the dressing room has really freshened up now especially since that senior player committee has been broken up, let's be real a committee of Kane, Lloris, Dier and Hojbjerg had a lot of faults in it, 3 players who were bringing the team down ability wise and 1 who was never committed to the future of the club and has now left, even Hugo being captain in the end most probably had a negative effect on the team.

I bet the culture is changing up at the club and the players are really looking forward to playing/training.

Very cool.

Similar set up to what you get in Rugby or some US sports.

As a manager / head coach, Hoddle often sat in the stands during the first half of matches to get a better sense of tactical patterns & where the space was.

And as a player, he had world class vision at pitch level, so it wasn't like he couldn't judge a game from the dugout.

Frankly, I'm astonished having coaches with a high vantage isn't 101 for all top football clubs.

I suspect Posto is keeping his cards close to his chest. He gives the impression it's simple and about playing attacking football. But once the players have got on board ( look to be there already) , I think we will see more tactical work. He's not going to spout out about what he's doing.
We have seen the full backs coming inside to support MF, MF getting higher up the pitch into scoring positions. He obviously wants fast CBs who can recover their positions.
It really is early days especially with the young players he has belief in.
