Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

As has been covered elsewhere, still early days, still lots to do, can’t get carried away just yet etc etc……

BUT, wasn’t it a joy in the second half to see us keeping possession, driving forward with the ball, passing and moving and taking the game to the opposition. And most of all — along with the result — seeing fans in the ground smiling, enjoying the football and getting behind the team. Full credit to Ange for doing that in such a short space of time.

Levy can sanction having the drummer in the ground or any other amount of contrived atmosphere enhancements , but the bottom line is, putting in performances like that and giving fans something to cheer about and get behind will do wonders for both fans and players alike and could make the stadium rock. That in itself could be worth an additional handful of points come the end of the season.

As a Celtic fan, I'm gutted and fuming at that performance. But it goes to show what a job Ange did.

One fuck up on a shitty plastic pitch like today, and you've bottled the treble and practically gift-wrapped Rangers a trophy. That kind of thing just didn't happen under Ange. Apart from one extra time cup defeat to Rangers which could have gone either way, he won every domestic game that had something riding on it.

If Ange had been managing today, Kilmarnock would have been out on their feet by 75 minutes after being run ragged. Against Rodgers they looked like they could have held out for another 45 minutes.

Angeball man 🥺 😭

basically youre skint and cant afford to lose a bet then. i pay my bets you wally, still couldnt name a captain as soft as son could ya? had long enough to think about it, but maybe thinking isnt your forte.

son wont be captain next year and thats a fact. youre obviously one of these strange little fanboys that follow people around and thats why youre here now, just because you think hes never taken a safe option doesnt mean he doesnt think its the smartest thing to do (for now). :skippwtf2:
That's a fact?

Dear God!

Goalscorers so far have been Romero, Royal, Sarr and Davies. Ange-ball will get everyone involved. If that front three can click we'll be laughing.
An upside to Kane’s departure is teams don’t know how to deal with us any more. Before, all teams knew they had to manage Kane, most couldn’t, but if you did better at it you stood a good chance against us.

I do wonder if the remaining front three are getting all the Kane attention now and that’s why it’s harder for them - Kane was often double marked. Might get easier on our attack when other teams realise our goals can actually come from anywhere. They’re going to have to be more sophisticated to stamp out our threat .

Maybe I'm getting soft, but "Pochettino is dead" is a bit much for me, by all reports he was just waiting for us to call him all summer before we went with Ange.
