Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

An upside to Kane’s departure is teams don’t know how to deal with us any more. Before, all teams knew they had to manage Kane, most couldn’t, but if you did better at it you stood a good chance against us.

I do wonder if the remaining front three are getting all the Kane attention now and that’s why it’s harder for them - Kane was often double marked. Might get easier on our attack when other teams realise our goals can actually come from anywhere. They’re going to have to be more sophisticated to stamp out our threat .
Richarlison had two and three on him the whole time - especially in their third - which opened space for others.

Should’ve said success like I’ve never seen before. Wasn’t even alive when those guys were managing.

Best sustained period of football I've seen since being old enough to drag my arse to games; doesn't mean it's right to casually disregard the genuine and significant successes that set the bar for our club.

As I noted in my post edit; Even Tel gave us one hell of a meaningful FACup win, 3rd place and good football.

He will always be magic to me and I would still love him back here one day.
He’s long gone. Long live the Ange.
Poch had lightning in a bottle but just fell short. We all know why and it still hurts.
What he did for our club was incredible but he is a chav now so fuck him.
I hope Levy backs our new man unlike Poch. And we achieve what was justified 4-6 years ago under the new man.
I also loved Poch but he did come up short when it mattered and still has a limited record of success at “bigger” clubs. I hope he falls flat on his arse at Chelsea and the signs are promising.
Levy remains the spanner in the works and if he doesn’t know now how close we were, how far we’ve fallen from grace and what it takes to get right back amongst it, then he’s the dead man walking.

Small sample size, but very encouraging.

I've been fully on board since day 1, but we did get the rub of the green. I love what we're doing offensively, but we need to shore up that defense. I'd like to see our xGA get closer to 1.0. Right now we're still giving up more than we're creating.
And so often it is getting the rub of the green that instills confidence and things grow from there.

Vicario saves in the second half gave us all more confidence in him and him confidence. One slip and the same people who were criticising after the pre season friendlies would jump on his back again.

It's only a small step from growing confidence to collapse. Having said that, I believe Ange is giving the whole team confidences to go out a play and eventually that should continue beyond any short term errors.
