recall a lot of fapping over Amorin as an Ange replacement before united snapped him up. Haven’t been following united too closely but how did he go once he got there?

Just be careful what you wish for with Ange out calls. Not saying right or wrong, but it’s not a simple thing, could just as easily set the club back a lot further.

Yeah only Ange could have achieved the miracle of beating AZ, Frankfurt or Bodo. Only him. Deluded fucking waffle.

You were wrong. We finished 17th. This manager is fucking shite and has been for a year and a half, one cup run doesn’t change shit and anyone on here with a functioning brain knows it. Only the thick as shit posters who I wouldn’t piss on if they were on fire continue to argue otherwise.

Lets be honest this post alone shows your character as a person. 'thick as shit posters who I wouldn't piss on if they were on fire' imagine saying this about fellow spurs fans because they dare to offer praise to our manager who has just helped us win a trophy. I wouldn't even expect a Woolwich fan to put something as horrible as that let alone one of our own, you're a disgrace with that comment and it should be enough to get you sin binned.

Do you know why Man Utd were such formidable opponents to play against under Alex Ferguson?
It wasnt just the fact they had a great team it was the winning mentality he installed into all his sides as pre premier league winners
i.e as Ange touched on Wednesday night that now this team can have there pictures all over the walls at our stadium and the actual feeling of winning a trophy is what breeds success.
Imagine next season when this team has there names and pictures dotted all over the walls & tunnel straight away psychologically you are fucking with all opposing teams heads pre match showing them we are the Europa league winners 2025 and now we going build on this and Ange has earned the right to lead this team to further glory in the years to come

They won't sack him.

For me the one thing in Ange's favour is that he still has the players. They've all said as much. No stories in the press about how bad training is etc.

That means something. He's also delivered a pot. Maybe next season it's the League Cup or the FA Cup. The players have a taste for it now.

Ultimately I think he will fail and end up being sacked in November. But I just can't see a world where Levy sacks him now.

Some supporters lens on Ange is absolutely disingenuous and absolutely disgraceful in how they come to the conclusions they come to.
What's 'disingenuous' about saying he's a 1 PPG manager , who has led his team down to 17th place, to club record for defeats, has no wins vs Woolwich or Chelsea in his tenure against 7 losses to the same, and all the rest of the facts and data one could produce? Those are facts, in black and white.

100% agree with you

I don’t think too many serious posters ever called for Amorim.

Whatever happens. No decision should be made, in either direction, by the club whilst we're in the joyous haze of the win and the parade. Hard, honest and long conversations need to be had between manager and club.. Not just coasting into August and seeing where we go for the first couple months. That always ends in disaster. Look at Brendan Rogers at Liverpool being given the first ten games to see where it goes and Ten Hag at Man Utd after he won the cup. We have an opportunity to use this moment as a launching pad. So we need to go forward with purpose and intent. They need to be all in or all out.

One things for sure. If he is going to be the manager in August, he either needs to demand, or be told under no uncertain terms, that he needs top coaches in his staff. It can't just be, "hey I'll work with anyone and it'll be fine".. It won't.

I think the decision to sack him was pre-planned weeks ago. That's why we're hearing about the structural changes, including the removal of Scott Munn (an Australian, who brought Ange here, by the way) and the appointment of Fabio Paratici.

Sacking him now, though, would be very problematic in my opinion. Although it might be a rational decision, he's the one who gave us the best moment this club has had in about 40 years. Just look at the parade today — it was bouncing.

Football is all about emotion. Sacking the man who brought that emotion is causing division among the fanbase and also among the players. It would take a top hire, like Inzaghi, to get everyone on board again.

That's why Levy is in a tough spot now. If Paratici comes in, I think Ange is 100% gone. But if Levy suddenly goes with the vibes, rejects Paratici, and meddles with Vinai, it would show his incompetence and reactionary nature.

Ange knows this and is applying pressure with statements like that. He knows that suddenly, momentum is with him. The next few days will be interesting for sure.

Levy and co are in a damned if they do damned if they don’t situation, and I must admit that even though I still heavily lean on the fact that the league campaign was simply to poor for him to carry on the players clear respect for the guy makes me wonder which way this will go, will him being sacked genuinely cause unrest amongst them?, how much will the good feeling of the last few days be soured by it?, this has got a lot deeper and more difficult than I ever thought it would be, I also ponder that if he’d shown this ability to adapt in the middle of the season would we even be having these discussions?, and it’s only fair to add that’s he’s been absolute class in the lead up to the final and since we won it.
