Some more stats from our EL final against the shittest Man U side you'll ever see:
35% possession
3 total attempts (1 on target, arguably)
0 'clear' chances
1 run into penalty area
66% pass accuracy
We won, and that's what matters - but it was absolutely despite the way we played, not because of it.
Wether you're Ange in or not fella, this sounds like a soundbite from a stroppy, salty, bitter, angry Woolwich fan than a fan of the team that just won a major trophy tbh. I can imagine this sort of tirade being all over the gooner forums....It will never again be as good as 90 minutes of hoofball against the 16th worst team in the Prem and being settled byBackstickFrontstick Beej hooking the ball away from goal onto Luke Shaw's immense bust to ricochet back towards goal, and be guided in by a delicate flick from BJ's stray bootlace!
NEVER AGAIN!
Nobody likes the 22 defeats in the league. Was utterly embarrassing and there was no hiding that. But you can't deny that he does bring some winning mentality into the club and players. And he delivered the silverware. It's a shame the club and some fans are not used to it.

It doesn't make sense replacing him with Thomas Frank after we've just won the Europa. Parker? Silva? none of these managers have won anything. It sends a really bad message if we replace the manager that has won the club major silverware with managers who haven't won anything.
Xavi, Glasner, Emery and yes ok that's fine. We can still send the message that winning silverware is actually important but there's something really odd about replacing him with a manager that hasn't won anything right after we've won something. This is feeling like they're doing it to not follow through with Ange's demands of buying experience and they can stick to punts.
The opposite of that argument is we shouldn’t have not appointed Jose because he won things and poch didn’t!!!!

I agree to a certain extent, but how is the UEFA cup a 'lesser trophy' exactly? We all appreciate him winning the Europa but it’s because we aren’t used to silverware that some fans are going soft on him.
At any elite team, if you won a lesser trophy like the EL but finished 17th in the league, you’d be thanked politely and told to find a new club.
How do you need a source for no update? There's no update!

I can't help imagining Ange watching this with his jaw dropped, tongue slightly exposed and an expression on his face like he has the worst headache he has ever experienced!
Simply saying if you stuck your post on a neutral forum and ask which fan group that was from most would say it was from a gooner i would suspect....Haha, how is that a tirade?
It's a fairly accurate summation of the Final in response to a ridiculous "it'll never be this good again!" video from SM.
If you really think that the 90 minutes in Bilbao was peak footballing brilliance then fair play to you, I thought it was abject. Does that take away from my enjoyment of winning the Cup? No, 90% of the other games this season chipping away at my emotional attachment to the Club, filling me with apathy, and boring my enthusiasm out into an empty husk did that...
It's not that we shouldn't have appointed Jose. We should have backed him properly after appointing him.The opposite of that argument is we shouldn’t have not appointed Jose because he won things and poch didn’t!!!!
Surely it’s about a coach who can’t develop young players. In that respect frank is a decent option
