He succeeded with his club more than Ange did with spurs at domestic level. Which is why when Iraola leaves Bournemouth he will have suitors whereas Ange will have to make do in some shite league.

I'm going to just assume you're intentionally trolling now, because you seem happy for being called out

Hence why he's happy to go on the Overlap with rat faced wanker Neville and nosh himself off for an hour and a half, and will probably get a pundit gig for the upcoming WC, he's just gonna spend the last few years of his career hoovering up any bits of money he can til the games done with him. Basically just a really scaled down shitter version of the end of Mourinho's career. You’re going to be very disappointed then. He ended up at relegation battling Forest and got sacked lol.
He’s not managing a big club.
Let’s see what job the super successful and winninest manager Ange ends up next. AEK Athens?? The true mark of a winner is when your jobs go downhill after all your winning
And Ange getting sacked at Forest must really please you then !You’re going to be very disappointed then. He ended up at relegation battling Forest and got sacked lol.

No I don’t. You still can’t imagine achievements. Pochettino had good players but a CL final and fighting for the league/having spurs consistently a top European side for years is viewed as a better CV than anything Ange has done.
This isn’t my opinion - the jobs Pochettino got reflect this fact. PSG wouldn’t hire Ange if he was the last coach on earth, they’d play without one or promote a first team player.
Ange had Son in one of his most productive seasons BTW.
Didn’t win at Forest, got his high cholesterol ass handed to him. Didn’t win a single thing in England other than the shittiest win % trophy.
Iraola is more of a “winner” in England. Ange hasnt won shit here.
Credit due to the manager, giving Son the captaincy, playing him to his strengths beyond playing second fiddle to Kane, no?
Or did Son appoint himself captain and choose where he played?
Very few managers outside Europe will ever get to manage in Europe. Only one form Australasia iirc. It took Postecoglou 30 years to get his shot.
Managing in Europe is a question of opportunity as well as talent, ability and hard work.

He got the opportunity. He didn’t make the most of it. He will have to retreat to lesser and lesser clubs now as he is a failure in England.
Love that this thread never dies , he's nearly been sacked a year and here we are coming up to 5000 pages.
Legendary manager![]()
Fifth, 17 th, Europa Cup, two domestic Cup semi's, 45% win percent across all competitions is not a failure. Many are worse.
Remains to be seen if he gets another gig.
Postecoglou's record is weakened by his second season where there were injuries and European priorities. Still, his win % overall at Spurs is 46.5%, Iraola at 38,1 % at Bournemouth.
Better players you might say, but how did that go for Frank?
One thing we've learned from Frank is that Managers don't always "scale". Bring Iraola here and will he have Postecoglou's ball of steel to manage a big club with big expectations?
The brief at Bournemouth is not the same for spurs. Your opinion is irrelevant on this issue as Iraola will get a better job than Ange ever could now, because the big clubs agree with me. He hasn’t shit the bed in this country, Ange has.. twice. Kicked his pathetic Aussie ass to the curb with his p45 twice in the space of months.
Ange flopped his England. He managed to cling on to his dignity with a Europa win where the players ignored his football and did his own thing.
