But don't tell the fans what to think, in the same way he said 'let the fans be excited' when we were top, you couldn't understand how it would feel to have Woolwich win the league, I don't expect you to, but don't tell us how to feel.

To caveat that, I get the feel that maybe it was more directed at maybe some of the players slacking off in training or even there must have been some talk about it inside the club, that's the only thing that would warrant those comments.

I thought that too but his "outside the club" comment suggests the fans. I assume he'll walk that back in a few days and was just cranky in the moment. The man hates losing.

Just wish he'd hate losing in the league cup a little more.

Some of the performances have been fucking pure shite this season and I've been pissed off too. Possibly more than you, as I was here long before you turned up and will be here long after you're gone.

Absolutely. Now us fans, most of us have been at this years. Some fans wanted to win tonight, most wanted to lose, but we are all Spurs, it's our club and we'll fight about it amongst ourselves. We don't need some Johnny come lately telling us how to think. He can fuck right off with that.

Also, it was you Ange who played a weak team in the league cup and threw away a chance of competing for a trophy, in a season where we needed no rotation of players really.

It was you, Ange, who sent us out without training our set plays, which saw us knocked out the cup v City. Fans weren't happy about that as I recall

It was you again Ange, who refused to rectify the set piece problem and saw our hated rivals take a 3-0 lead by half time in our own stadium.

Having a thinly veiled pop at the fans is a big fucking no-no.

"I just want to win, mate" - how about doing that just once in the previous fucking 4-match losing run.
