This happened many times during previous managers and guess who was at the end of the blame. The players stopped being able to pass it to each other. They forgot how to tackle. Forgot how to kick the fucking ball!

at 2-1 you get udogie off and beef the midfield to get momentum back. he did neither and let them take the piss and take all 3 points. like you said you also get rid of the highline once they have tails up and go for a more balanced approach...theres so many mistakes this guy makes in game its actually scary. When we’re under the pump, I’d like to see us switch to a back 3 and flood the midfield.
If Ange holds that high line, he’s not going to last the season. Fair enough, if he has his principles. But they will cost him his job.
I just don’t really care enough about football to really try and work out why this club always does this.Maybe Europa league? That low energy second half is a trademark of being in this comp
But we actually have a deep midfield and we could've brought that energy back by replacing all 3 even with sarr, biss, Lucas/gray
And Spence on for udogie
We should be mentally strong enough to see it out at 2 up with a half to go, not completely capitulate
we did exactly this under conte against Southampton, and of course he famously blew up after .
I just don't know were this mental weakness comes from , it's a totally new team but seems to be in the fabric of the club somehow.
Tottenham's history is this unfortunately![]()
There are things you can get away with in the J-league and Scottish PL that you're not going to get away with here. How tf do you become a head coach and see that happening and not realize you need to do something? It's really bizarre- like some kind of mental-block, thought-paralysis type shit.
What a fucking stupid thing to say. How is the manager absolved of all the blame? Maybe he should’ve reminded the players that no fucking club has won a game at half time? Maybe he could’ve subbed some players at the very least before we conceded our second, if he’s really not willing to change his system?
I defended Jose in here at times for the same reason.
If the players decide that they're gonna forget how to play football, then I won't blame the manager for that.
I see no sign that they're not playing for him but I will criticise him for not changing it sooner.
I just don’t care mate. When we’re under the pump, I’d like to see us switch to a back 3 and flood the midfield.

even his fucking idiot fanboys knew he needed to make changes way before he did....thats how hilarious it is.Shocking lack of changes and subs when he could see the game was going to shit. What the fuck were you waiting for?
Jury still out on this guy.
cmon man. His game management for this one was absolutely god awful (first sub on the 80th min?? what?).
Maybe.
Ange has a shocker with subs.cmon man. His game management for this one was absolutely god awful (first sub on the 80th min?? what?).
Is he just going to continue letting aromero leave player unmarked on not give adragusin a chance?
Going to a back 3 against a team with two wingers playing like they were would have been worse. They were in the ascendancy and would just push their wingers high and we’d resort to a back 5 so you wouldn’t get a grip of the game. When we’re under the pump, I’d like to see us switch to a back 3 and flood the midfield.

It's remarkable people acting like he is absolved. A smarter coach could have won the game and simply savvy one saved the point.cmon man. His game management for this one was absolutely god awful (first sub on the 80th min?? what?).

That performance deserves all the melting in the world.Maybe.
But there is no manager alive or in future that will never have a half like our second half today.
This is the problem with the melting. They say they're striving for perfection but it'll never happen.
Get rid of Levy.
Get rid of managers.
Get rid of the scapegoat players.
Performances like this will always happen. The trick is to limit them to less often and after a run of 5 wins is not a strong foundation for that argument.
Are you the true Richard Arlison? Asking for AngeThat performance deserves all the melting in the world.
It was shit. The players and the club should refund the away fans.
he was minutes away from losing his job against coventry. played a pile of shit after and everyone got hoodwinked.Major things concern me about Ange yet again highlighted.
1. Leaves it far too late to make subs
2. His in-game management is appalling. He just stands there gormless, looking clueless just hoping the tide will turn but does nothing to influence it. A top manager as soon as that second goal goes in is making changes.
3. His attitude of we just play one way - when it works, fantastic we look great. When it doesn't, we look atrocious. And unfortunately in the premier league, there are too many good sides who will expose Ange ball. Like Brighton did today. This way won't bring success. We will just be a midtable Bielsa like Leeds side.
Due to the above, Ange will never be a success here.
And people going on about 5 wins in a row. That isn't PL games.
Coventry, Carrier Bag and a Hungarian side are in that run. And on Thursday it was literally a roll of the dice we lose or draw that game even if the kids did well, and Coventry we were seconds from going out.
Scratch beneath the surface and it doesn't say much.
