Maybe (hopefully) he's just saying that so as not to hit Forsters confidence. We're gonna need him for now.
But fuck me, we need another keeper more than we need a tin pot.
I can't understand how anyone could expect him to say anything else. As a manager it's his job to make sure the morale and confidence of Forster is at it's peak for the crucial matches coming up. I'd have been horrified if he'd publicly knocked him down by claiming we were bringing someone in.

The more people look for any excuse to put the boot into Ange the more entrenched my “ Love Ange “ position is becoming.

Now I tend to look for any excuse to moan about ENIC , maybe that has the same effect on the Levy defence force .

Ange / Levy / ENIC/ Poch Back, all very polarising

I'll always hate on ENIC and Levy, no matter who the coach is or what they're doing.

You're technically wrong on both counts.

They both came under Conte. Kulu in January 2022 on an 18 month loan. Porro in January 2023 on a loan to buy deal.
Neither are "Ange signings" in that Porro was always going to be made permanent as it was done and dusted, and, after haggling a bit off the Kulu price, him too.
No, I'm not wrong and you literally proved me right in your comments.

Porro was already agreed (due to it being a loan with obligation) and we decided to make Kulu permanent after Ange arrived (due to it being a loan with an option). If Ange didn't want to sign Kulu, we wouldn't have signed him, but he didn't have a choice with Porro due to it already being pre-agreed.

I don’t think that does distort the numbers so much as having Maddison on that left side. Yes, Kulusevski drifts inside, but so does Son and Maddison. It’s nearly always the same, when he plays, play inevitably flows through him more than it does if Sarr or Kulusevski play as the other 8, neither of whom get themselves on the ball anywhere near as much as Maddison, even when our more ball playing RCB Romero is playing.

I also find it very unlikely we would target City’s stronger defensive side (their right) as a policy.
We loaded so many players on our left, their right-hand side with namely Madders, Son, Solanke, Biss and Udogie (With Davies also but like Radu both were quite deep and laid off short balls to Madders/Biss/Sarr who showed and collected off them).

But our bias to City's right was very pronounced......

"Sackable offence", oh my eyes.

Coming from someone who couldn't find a good word to say about our team or head coach after a near-perfectly managed four-goal thrashing away to the League Champions, nor in the four days after.

Yet you crop up to demand that Postecoglou be immediately fired for a throw-away reply to a loaded question at a press conference at a time when the transfer window isn't even open.

Everybody is pointing and laughing at you.

:mourpointlaugh:

It's not a cunt off.

I just CBA to argue.

Well Tbh I’ve not followed the conversation.
However I feel your lack of desire to argue represents a wider malaise within the Ange out fraternity.

Leave the dark side and join us in our cult of positivity and koala’s.

:ange-arms2:

How’s this for a point of view.

Going off the 6 game league form table our win against West Ham was a bigger deal than our win against Man City.
West Ham 10 points from 6. City 9 points from 6.
(We played them both within their last 6 league games).
Go figure that one out!

What a laughable post, and underlines the agenda when you've spent the majority of this season using last season's form to beat Spurs and Postecoglou with.

Any excuse to excuse the failings of our rivals, whilst stating that they're not excuses for the team you, supposedly, support.

There's quite a few hypocritical "fans" on this forum, but you're the Brazil 1970 of hypocrites.

You'll give them a pass?

Arrogant bell end.
Notable that the only wankstain to agree with his post is our other resident gooner gimp.......🤷‍♂️

I'm balancing it off with the fact City haven't won a game now in 6 matches.

Their last 6 games, FYI
Spurs 2-1 City
Bournemouth 2-1 City
Sporting 4-1 City
Brighton 2-1 City
City 0-4 Spurs
City 3-3 Feyenoord (from 3 up lolz)

Like it or not, they are a club with massive problems right now. I said it right at the start of that run when we beat them that they have injury problems (and possibly more serious squad problems) and I've never changed that.

At the moment, bragging about beating City is on a par with Jake Paul bragging he beat a 58 year old decrepit Mike Tyson.
Was it a satisfying win? Yes it was.
Did I enjoy the game? Yes I did.
Does it move the needle for Ange/Spurs? No.

We have been in this exact position under Ange and other managers. I'm having flashbacks to beating Chelsea 5-3 and then losing to Palace in the next game.
Or beating City at the Etihad under Conte and then losing to Burnley in the next match
Beat Man United 1-6 and then throw a 3 nil lead away against West Ham at home in the next game
Beat Villa 0-4 then lose 3-0 at Fulham.

See the theme? We keep thinking we have done something special and then revert straight back type in the next game.
It's who we are mate. And it's deeper than Ange.
Jesus mate. Beating city might not be what it was at the moment, beating them 4-0 away is pretty bloody special regardless if they have injuries / are a bit down at the moment.

To suggest otherwise is just hating.
