Short term fixes that ultimately got us nowhere in the long term. Thats what Conte was. Jol, Redknapp and Poch were brilliant but every other manager we had ultimately failed in terms of progressing us as a team. I think Ange has progressed us.

This is a long term project - we aren't signing ready made players who can help us to win now. We are buying all young players and thinking 3/4 years ahead and the style of football we want is what Ange offers. It might not work in the end, but thats the club goal. We aren't going to just sack him, become pragmatic and go all out for a top 4 this season. It seems that there is a big disconnect between what some fans on here want and what the club are trying to do.
I would agree that Conte was a short term fix. But think you're being a bit naive. Levy would sack his own grandmother the second he starts getting stick, which he will soonish if results dont pick up. There is no ultimate long term plan for any particular manager.

You might be right. I'm assuming Levy has learned from past mistakes and is actually all in on this project. I might be wrong but I'm usually quite good which some of you will find out eventually

Are people seriously banging the drum for Ange out because of yesterday's result?

People expected us to just comfortably beat Fulham without Vicario, VDV, Romero, Bentancur, Solanke, Rich, Odobert and Moore.

Would Woolwich beat Fulham without Raya, Saliba, Gabriel, Rice, Havertz, Jesus, Trossard and Sterling?

Would Liverpool beat Fulham without Alisson, Van Dijk, Konate, Macallister, Nunez, Jota, Gakpo and Chiesa?

Would City beat Fulham without Ederson, Dias, Stones, Rodri, Haaland, Grealish, Savinho, Doku?

Have some perspective please. This is a dreadful injury crisis.
This post just makes me depressed about our squad.

Rich, Odobert, Moore vs Jesus, Trossard, Sterling. Where did it all go wrong?

Interesting. I will come back on this post.

The problem with this win lose win lose win draw win lose is it just keeps on going.

If a coach won 10 then lost 10 he'd get sacked. End of. No debate.
Ange is basically on the verge of winning 10 and losing 10 but can't be consistent wither way. So we just keep trundling on.

However, lose to Bournemouth and Chelsea, which is likely, lets face it, and I think it's curtains.

This isn't what I think should happen. It's what I think will happen.

yeah you handpicked 3 results mate. Why not handpick the 4-0 win at the Etihad or the 3-0 win at Old trafford.

If we lose 3 or 4 games in a row then he might be in trouble but thats not going to happen because we are actually a good team. Once we get all our players back then we can beat anyone

No, dude. It is not about yesterdays thing.
Good, let's then stop with hand-picking.

It is about 41 games in EPL now.
Since the purple patch that by the looks of it will never be replicated we have been going for over a full season (41 games) in absolute shit form.

We have gathered 60 points since that time. That equals to 55,6 points per full season. In timespan that has lasted more than a year.
We have managed to keep 6 clean sheets from 41. This is below 15% of games.

Injuries are part of football. Every other side in the league also battle injuries. And with Ange, I've seen not even single person who would deny that his approach and intensity causes more injuries than usual. So you basically take something that he is responsible of and use that as an excuse for him? So externalizing something fundamentally internal.

Buy out Thomas Franks contract at Brentford. He knows the prem and what he has done at Brentford on a limited budget and the style of football they play, makes him the perfect fit for me.
Yes pay off Ange compensate Brentford , don’t give Frank what he needs , sack and pay off Frank .

The definition of madness is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result . This has been tried 16 times in 25 years always ending the same way , even the managers who outperform Levynomics get ultimately betrayed imho .

Bentancur's 7 game ban and Vicario's long term injury have nothing to do with Ange's playing style. Romero daftly going into a big tackle with Rogers and huring his toe isn't really his fault either. Odobert got taken out by the AZ keeper and thats what messed him up.

If you really want to go clutching then maybe you can blame VDV and Richarlison's hamstring injuries on our play style but I reckon them 2 are going to do their hammy atleast once or twice a season anyway.

And watch Ange go to Brentford and have them play us off the park next year while Frank has us parking the bus and trying to time waist.

That would be actually be the most Spurs thing ever

VDV maybe ? Richarlison has hardly played and came on as a sub a few minutes before . I don’t know why he broke down but it wasn’t our playing style that’s for sure . We seem to collect players made of glass.

Ange isn't playing a high line with Brentford, they would get relegated if he did.

Also Brentford have scored two goals less than us with park the bus Thomas Frank.

Our fanbase never learns it seems.

What, like leaving Ange in charge and expecting us to win 2 league matches on the bounce more than once a season?
There are better managers. There were more of them when we got this guy too, but there are still some about.

If we don't replace him, then, IMO, that is ENIC saying they have their empire built, and the football clubs success no longer matters to them.

We've had our players back for countless occassions the last 12 months and we've not beaten anyone, we've lost loads of games.

Your defence of Ange is insane. When we lose there's always an excuse, lack of leaders, injuries, naive?!

Naive, here's one for you. Ange is fucking naive.

When will the penny drop with you? we are managed by a fraud. The day he gets sacked can't come soon enough. It boggles the mind people can watch the palace, ipswich and fulham games and think the manager isn't to blame. Mental.

I'm still not sure. If Levy sacks him before January then he has to back a new manager with new players, which he wont want to do. He's safe until February/March I think, once we go out of the Europa and FA Cup.
