Probably spent the day in Poole town centre being pleasantly surprised how run down Sandbanks is 
Absolutely not, no.
Newcastle were happy. Brighton should have scored more than 3 in the 2nd half.
Their 2nd half blitz of us was far better than our first half performance. Far better.
Absolute anti-spurs tinted glasses on - go read any report of the Newcastle game - everyone says they were not happy at from the moment they scored until they scored their second and their goals came completely against the run of play.
We should have scored a couple more too -if you arent going to be objective then there is no point in discussing this stuff with you.
Newcastle did a number on us.
They sat deep and were happy to hit us on the break. Joelinton threaded the ball through for their winner. And we didn’t really have any huge chances. A few shots outside the box, but we weren’t marauding forward.
It was a very clear example of exposing our high line.
Which has been recurring especially this season. This is why I chuckle when people say we "dominate" games. Some games we look incredible, but other games we are about as threatening as a feather duster.
Not how I recalled it, we pegged them back but made a number of stupid decisions going forward and kept making the wrong pass and they benefited from our errors in defence, it wasn't a masterclass or by design , that's actually a feature of our play - we're not as 'dominant' as we should be because we don't turn our possession into meaningful chances.

I think we’ve improved since then.
We’re not as reckless in our high line (perhaps, injuries have helped force our hand) but it was absolutely by design from Newcastle. I remember very clearly that they weren’t pressing us. They wanted us as high up the pitch as possible and then they hit us on the counter.
Probably could have got a draw out of it, but we didn’t put them to the sword at all. They countered us and, on that particular day, it worked.
They couldn't get near us that's why.
The 4-0 was done by design the season before to perfection, they camped the middle and made us go round the outside but our attacks were dying and when they went forward they killed us with the ball in behind Porro to Gordon - the tried the same thing this season but they were largely nullified and we had more of the ball further in their half but kept making silly decisions and poor final balls.

Chavs rock up no matter how they are doing at that particular time riding high or complete dog shit they’ll show up for us , no fear there
