There are certain elements that hugely frustrating with him (game management, not utilising some players, pious attitude of not laying into refs - resulting in getting done over like today) but ultimately this was always billed as a project and given I’ve not heard a single viable alternative manager that’s being suggested, we should 100% give him the season.
He’s still in the cups and i wouldn’t bet against us still finishing top 7 with him. With the squad he has, what’s our ceiling, 4th based on Chelsea having a shit season, so 5th? So not sure what a new manager would do, even if there was a decent choice out there

Not sure i like this idea of hiding behind Ryan Mason coming in as an excuse. The other times he has come in has been the back end of a season, no threat of being bottom half let alone bottom 5 or 6. He might get 1 game or something but that would be it. That twat Levy is just going to have to stump up like he did with Redknapp or it will be Terzic or Potter.

Something about Silva im not sure about. Was a disaster at everton and thats a big club. Some managers are suited to smaller clubs as less scrutiny. Iraola has a poch vibe about him. Either way i hope the board are looking just in case.

He couldn’t see a 2 - 0 lead out at home. Zero game management. Won’t make subs, won’t sit deep for even 5 minutes to soak up pressure and hit on the counter. Rushing unfit players back only to re injury them. Just stands there on the sidelines looking as confused as ever.
If you had a comparable day in any regular job setting your boss would say, don’t come back into my office. The failed season is down to Levy, but today was on Ange. Sorry mate, Ange out. Don’ t have the faith he can turn it around.

Motd summing up ange perfectly and showing what a fraud he is tactically hasn't got a clue what to do. Even sanchos interview he's talking about what they've worked on as they knew what we'd do. He needs to go by tomorrow we might catch some teams like city and united on bad days but any half decent team on their day can turn up execute a plan and take 3 points off of us no problem.
