Think your incorrect here Shady. When we had a full strength squad, we were rotating heavily. All of Gray, Dragusin, Davies, Bergval, Werner, Richarlison and Moore started games and none of them would be regarded as first team. Unforunately the squad has been so decimated with injuries that we've only been able to make 2/3 changes for last 2 games but first 3 games, we definitely made atleast 5 in each game.

Isn't that the crux of the argument? When has our squad been full strength when we've made allowances to rest players, once or twice when we've had Europa matches, the rest we've fielded significantly strong teams.

It's a silly argument anyway started by some troll who seemingly doesn't know what he's talking about, lame.

It's an opinion.

If we both agree that we should change owners but you think it will be what propels us forward then why give a shit if I think it changes little?

Just hope you end up being right in which case I won't give a toss that I was wrong.
Changing owners changes everything.

Spurs haven't had decent owners since the mid 80's.

Irving Scholar fucked Spurs and saddled us with Venables & Sugar.

Sugar began the 'limited budget' journey we have been on since 91 and handed the baton to Daniel Greedy.

The trophies and glory this club was once all about is now just an anecdote to the young, megadome dwellers reared on ENIC's austerity.

Doubtless Sugar made a tidy profit?

We're mid-table because we dropped 8 points against 3 teams in the relegation zone, and lost another 6 points from a position of 2 goal leads. Nothing to do with lack of depth or anything else. It was entirely avoidable.

Such a wasted opportunity, as top 4 would have been easily attaniable with the way Woolwich and City are struggling this season, and the likes of Utd, Villa, Newcastle and Brighton are not exactly pulling up any trees themselves.

Every season more and more teams are struggling - its nearly like its not so easy to just rock up and beat every team week in week out.

Hence why we are, despite the losses you mention, - still very much within reach of the top 4.

We're mid table because that's who we are.

Bit 'arsh......last time we won the F.a cup....🤷‍♂️
I lost interest in Spurs under Venables.

If you look at the squad Venables inherited it was his signings that sowed the seeds for what went wrong after he left the club.

Venables inherited the best Spurs side until Poch's 15 / 16 team.

He signed Paul Stewart, for a huge fee, as a striker who couldn't score goals and sold Clive Allen.

He sold Ruddock to Southampton and then bought him back. He filled the side up with mediocrity like Sedgley, Samways, Fenwick, Cundy, Austin, Edinburgh, Walsh, Mimms and many others while allowing quality players to leave.

He signed Gascoigne and Lineker who carried his team until the day they left.

Ossie inherited a bucket of shit from Venables and every subsequent manager struggled as a result.

Nick Barmby, Sheringahm and Anderton were also decent signings.

Paul Stewart was hit and miss I’ll give you but he did score a decent goal in the FA Cup final and took it well

Apparently abused as a child

Yesterday we saw 2 egregious bits of media shit baiting with Ange.

1. They ask him about Rashford and he says he's not interested in rumours. They make a headline about him not interested in Rashford.

2. He gives a piss take answer about the job being harder than Prime Minister

The BBC runs a story like he was dead serious

How is it shit baiting? Let’s see what he said shall we?

Said “this is the hardest job in any walk of life” without a hint of sarcasm, he is dead serious when he says that and it’s absolutely insulting to many people around the world to make such an idiotic statement.

This man gets paid in one season more than most people will ever see in their entire life and for what?

I would love to see what this man would do if he was in the forces, wouldn’t last 10 mins.

We could've easily avoided the stuff I mentioned without necessarily 'just rocking up and beating every team week in week out'. There's a middle ground there.

Being technically within the reach of the top 4 doesn't instill much confidence in me. We had a smaller margin of error -error defined here as dropping points in those kinds of situations I described- starting the season compared to likes of Woolwich and City, due to our underdog status in relation to them. We should've had a head start already, not trying to outdo them for the rest of the year.

It's just me.

God I really must have hurt your feelings or are you simply incapable of having an intelligent discussion?

There is absolutely zero constructive or critical thinking is there? Just have to resort to trolling and hollow insults every time I post, it’s actually boring.

I'm sorry I can't have an 'intelligent' discussion with you because I find your take completely hysterical and hyper sensitive.

You moaning about him making a throwaway comment about his job and comparing it to other jobs is just hilarious, sorry.

I think you need to chill a bit.

IM not saying we should have more points than we do already - it's just why you talk about other teams doing badly, it kind of shows how tough the prem is this season.

So you put a video of the exact same quote that I also included a video of but can't see that it's clearly tongue in cheek?
