We also pay more for tickets than 100% of clubs in Europe, and have the lowest wage vs turnover ratio % than all 150 professional clubs in England

By that metric, Dorking Wanderers are more ambitious - if you think our fans are spoilt brats, you are quite the cunt
Where have you found the info on wages to turnover for all the clubs? I’d be keen to see the figures if you have a link please.

Is there some sort of rule where you're players are meant to be more tired in the Champions League or something?
maybe.... you'd know. regarding the point. Newcastle were playing against the elite first time round for a while. Fernsomeones and Quarabag aren't really that are they.. last season wasn't enough games and this season too many but it's not into the next stages yet so you will most likely be correct in whatever you are saying about tired men on 100k a week. 👨‍🎓

Spurs aren't in the champions league like Newcastle were. Now it's 'rest they need'. Schooled in Europe so far... like he was with Celtic. Ok there were results against teams nobody has heard of.. . Us, all the new aussie support is us. Don't know if that's the case with you but the other ones it is exactly what I was expecting and dreading. Carry on with the cultship.

sorry this really confused me, how have we been "Schooled in Europe" you know we've lost just the once right away to Galatasaray?

nonsensical hyperbole, stop it

So you're saying that players who play in the Europa League shouldn't be as tired as players who play in the Champions League as if there's some sort of unwritten rule that football is meant to be less strenuous when you drop down a level in competition, what brilliantly weird logic.

I suppose if you're playing Conference League football I suspect players can play every 3 days at full intensity and not suffer from any fatigues at all according to your logic.

Let’s not forget that Villa are above us despite playing the likes of Bayern and Juve rather than Qarabag and Ferencvaros.

nice one mate .. stop it..👩‍🎓 nonsensical ☺️ you do appear to be easily confused from what i have read of your contributions to mankind on here.. but carry on. It's insightful stuff.

The difference is simple, Villas line up in CL games is almost exactly the same as Prem games.

Our line up in the EL is heavily rotated to our Prem starting 11 - for a start we Moore, Lankshear, Bergvall, Dragusin and Davies - none of whom are genuine starting players in the league for us. I’m sure Odobert would have had more minutes also

This is false

If I recall the only time we've really 'heavily rotated' is against Ferenchvaros, Besiktas we played with 5/6 starters - the rest have been pretty much almost all first 11.

You can't be serious?
I thought you were a reasonable fan.
I didn't think there was anyone left, even the most diehard Levy fans that used the fear of things getting worse as an argument for keeping them around.
Are you alright? Where have I said anything of the sort?

I've said a change of ownership won't be the path to utopia, and also said ENIC should have been ousted after Super League.
Never mentioned things getting worse, or wanted ENIC to stay.

I think we'll be the same as we are with new owners. A 4th to 7th club.
Are you going tonight? How much was your ticket? Same question for Sunday?
Aside from not sure what the relevance is exactly. It'd cost me an airfare from the other side of the world for starters.
So no.

When did we play Besiktas, must have missed that one.

Qarabag, Ferencvaros, AZ all had Moore and Bergvall starting. Ferencvaros also had Lankshear starting.

I don’t mind you disagreeing, but please provide some evidence - so far you’ve provided none. Our starting line ups have been heavily rotated for Europe

You mean you want me to disprove your weak ass theory because you're incapable of using Google, okay then

vs Qarabag, where' the 'heavy rotation' here? Note we played with 10 men for about 80 mins as well.

And I obviously meant AZ when I said Besiktas

Ferenchvaros I already said we went weak

We've played 6 games so far in the EL and 2 out of 6 games we've rotated significantly, the rest no so what are you talking about?

Also this 'we pay the highest prices blah blah' is such a forced argument because it only speaks from the match goers perspective, the vast vast majority of Tottenham fans don't go to the stadium.

Spurs fans moan too much, I think it's a fashionable trend amongst self entitled football fans these days on social media and our fanbase are just as guilty as anyone. I know everything is relative and we've had an up and down few seasons but fuck me some of the whining is embarrassing.

WWAH’s.

Them and the TWAT’s don’t know they are born.

Anyone who is going into the Tottenham Hotspur stadium as a paying customer is one of life’s winners. Fact.

What a lovely contribution Who has made to the forum. Around 75 posts, the vast majority in the Ange Postecoglou thread and every single one of them slagging the manager off.

Brilliant stuff. Illuminating; thought-provoking; the kind of all round contribution that makes TFC a brand leader in football discussion forums.

10/10 - would read again...
