Fair on you mate for getting a source but it sounds like conjecture:

"It is also worth noting that sacking him could cost the club £12million and it is very unlike Spurs to part ways with such funds unless it is absolutely necessary."

ie, guesswork based on his salary.

Knowing Levy, and given the fact he'll have known the average length of a manager at Spurs is about 18 months, I'd be shocked if he didn't stipulate any payout would be far lower than the rest of his contract.
I would be utterly shocked if we hired a guy with no serious experience on his CV at £5M/yr and the contract didn't allow for termination at a significantly reduced cost if he fell flat on his face. It was always entirely possible.

If we'd been paying him a low salary, maybe, but paying him the 7th highest salary in the league and not protecting ourselves for the potential failure of appointing someone with little experience would be very un-Levy.

Also, didn’t Levy say he wanted to go with a ‘continental’ structure (ie, change coats every few two years or so) - this was before he employed Ange on a long contract, mind you.
There was definitely talk of restructuring and it would make sense, especially considering Ange was always a risk. I was just making on what I know from the article, which is assume had some kind of vetting.

The morons on social media are still defending this amateur. He has a spell in some people still
hes got a load of australians following him about cos they got fuck all to follow. the idiot spurs fans that have taken to him have done so because hes a symbol of hope for losers. they see him as similar to themselves, so it gives them hope. if ange postecoglou can do it anyone can.

any idiot can see hes cut from a different cloth to actual football managers, so its inspiring for them isnt it. some fat, scruffy cunt who looks like he should be walking in front of coffins as a day job is manager at a big club like spurs, while having fuck all understanding of football. its inspiring stuff really.

In case you haven't noticed... we are now desperate.

Some bizarre logic.

Desperate for Ryan Mason yeah

You're desperate for THIS MAN to come in and takeover and steady the ship LMAO
