Our press is fucking horrendous. I’d say it’s our main problem which is contributing to everything else being shit.
My only hope is that the statements of support are just face saving PR because we don't want to present panic publicly and that, like with previous sackings, Levy wants to secure the plan before dropping the axe. Whether that's a new permanent appointment (preferred, and Iraola preferred), or a caretaker until the end of the season (Mason).
Last week of a transfer window is also a terrible time to sack a manager, and the unsure status we're in right now is certainly making it very, very difficult to recruit.
Stupid we didn't sack him sooner - giant mistake that will have plenty of negative knock on effects.
People here are clamouring for any type of 'win'. Apparently winning the league cup is like the holy grail. If we do go down, which I doubt, least we can 'win' the Championship and satisfy the weirdos on here.

A) If finishing in the bottom 3 and winning a cup is good for you then you need to get checked out

The other logical fallacy is that because Spurs had a series of managers who were fired quickly you can't fire this one quickly. Each hiring or firing was an decision that was independent of the others.
