'Since the end of last season Tottenham’s medical and sports science departments have undergone significant change. It all started when Geoff Scott left his position as head of medicine and sports science in the summer. It ended a 20-year association with Spurs for Scott who became their head physio in 2004 after leaving Fulham. He worked under 11 different managers including Mauricio Pochettino, Jose Mourinho, Antonio Conte and Postecoglou.
Scott left Spurs after clashing with Postecoglou. Sources with knowledge of the situation, who asked to remain anonymous to protect relationships, say that the pair fell out over how to manage the first-team squad’s workload and the recovery of injured players. However, the club insists that Scott’s departure did not involve Ange Postecoglou and was instead a result of the review and restructure of the department.'
Deary me. Looks like Trix's info was spot on. Three members of the medical team left Spurs after someone at the club (Ange) didn't like what they were telling him about managing the injuries.
I'm sorry but yet more evidence that we have employed a total fucking fraud bluffer, who has no idea how to manage a elite PL team and we're a fucking mess because of it.
Just sack the cunt.
I don’t know they are good enough, I am saying a few games of enthusiasm and energy filling holes is all we need. I wouldn’t thrust a CB in, but I would play a CM or RBI can't take this take seriously sorry, it you don't watch our young players then how do you know if they're good enough?
Do you not think if they were actually good enough they'd make it in and around the first team like Moore?

Nothing lost. I don’t think they would directly lose us the game…. I don’t think we have anything to lose in the next two Europa league games. We have to find a way to carve out rest

He’s hardly the first manager to gamble on players’ fitness for important fixtures. Jose, one of the greats of all time, is notorious for leaning on injured players to play when he felt he needed them. It’s not some Ange-specific thing.I think it's pretty obvious the way that VDV and Romero broke down v Chelsea, that Ange gambled on their fitness.
The most likely scenario is the true one. We have noises that medical team said they shouldn't play, but they did and got injured. Ange was under the cosh, a big game coming up, he needed a result, he threw them in gambled and then subsequently fucked our season up even more.
It's all on Ange. He's a clueless cretin.
The most favourable for him scenario is that he is just the unluckiest football manager I've ever seen. And that's exactly opposite of what we need. He’s hardly the first manager to gamble on players’ fitness for important fixtures. he's always been a really good coach. In the right circs he'd do a far better job here than Ange. ie keep him on the training ground, and give him a lot of help with transfers in. At LFC by the end his picks were pretty poor.
unluckiest bloke to ever exist. poor bloke couldnt even get a suit that fits him bless him. soooooooo unlucky. The most favourable for him scenario is that he is just the unluckiest football manager I've ever seen. And that's exactly opposite of what we need.

I read that number out of context and frantically called up the PL table. That's how frayed my nerves are with this bloody club, Baz!
Only if the 38 games are against pub league teams. The thing is though, an approach of "damn the torpedoes, forget controlling the game, just generate more chances and it will all work out" is much better optimized to succeed over a 38 game league season than a knockout cup competition.

That’s a fancy title.
