I’d rather Southgate to the loser we have. But yes. He’d be a very poorAnyone who thinks we are going for Southgate next hasn't a clue. It'll be an attacking manager. They'll stick to the project and hope that Ange laid some good attacking foundations.
Moving to a totally defensive coach like Southgate would be clueless and show we have no direction and are just making it up as we go a long. I'd totally give up on Tottenham if we went for Southgate. I'd be left with no choice but to wash my hands of it all
Levy knows NOTHING about football. I think that is something that we can all agree on.And this would surprise you from Levy?? Who did we go for after Poch again?
Santini?I have a feeling Levy has Terzic or someone else already lined up for the summer.
QuiteHe may have his hand forced if we don't win our next 2 games mind you.
Yeah had a look through the fixtures there this morning and honestly can't see where we get 6 wins at the moment to be absolutely safe over 40 pts. Its looking very likely 35 is more than enough but we do not need this team to be anywhere near 18th going into the last 5 games when we cannot win a game let alone two on the spin.Santini?
Quite
Levy may be betting on us still being in the PL at the end of the season. I can't see where we're going to get 16 pts to get us to 40pts. If we stay up in those circs it's because there are some teams that are sooooo bad that we aren't in the bottom 3.
As ever, Levy ready to sack off a season and cups to make his life easier.
I don't believe a cup win should save him. The league finish is the way managers are judged. Things secondary like domestic cups are in no way to cancel out the league finish and the generally terrible state of the club.Yeah had a look through the fixtures there this morning and honestly can't see where we get 6 wins at the moment to be absolutely safe over 40 pts. Dire times man.
A cup doesn't save him now for me - zero chance anyway so its a moot point.
30+ points will be enough IMO providing we beat Leicester and Ipswich. We will be too far ahead of either - they both have tricky fixtures to negotiate. We are in a precarious position but as long as we don’t lose to either we will probably be ok.Yeah had a look through the fixtures there this morning and honestly can't see where we get 6 wins at the moment to be absolutely safe over 40 pts. Methinks someone within the organization has seen enough, and wants to remove the only crutch holding up Ange's regime (the injury crisis and related excuses).i'm sorry but this latest nytimes article is devastating for ange and the club heirarchy and the mouthpieces like gold who feed us shit on the daily. i'd call it a joke but it's a tragedy and it's destroying our club as we speak.
“Although the club insists that Scott’s departure did not involve Ange Postecoglou, sources with knowledge of the situation, who asked to remain anonymous to protect relationships, say that the pair fell out over how to manage the first-team squad’s workload and the recovery of injured players.”

I'm not sure we'll beat either tbh, esp Ipswich
