Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It's an often ignored fact that under Ange we've never lost more than twice in a week. That's a 71% non loss rate. Pretty damn good. Ange in.

I'm probably seeing stuff that isn't there but it seems to be another bit of evidence of a potential takeover/partial takeover.

Like, why else would everyone be so content with things as they are?

I know, it’s bizarre. Something is going on for sure. Whether it’s that time will tell. I maintain the the first well hear of something like that happening will be out of the blue with no news beforehand of it happening. Levy loves a NDA, however people still talk.

Because he keeps on being asked about them!

I find Spurs fans dismissing our injury crisis purely for the fact you don't like the manager just uber weird, you literally sound like rival fans trying to play everything down.

Oh ffs!
The context was that there’s now a solid base , youth exposed to senior team, an overhaul of the medical, S and C, a clean out of overpaid has beens, a new identity, a change in culture, that a willingness to accept mediocrity has been washed away et al.
Are you seriously that thick?
"willingness to accept mediocrity has been washed away"? In fact, it looks like we've accepted it. If you look at how transfers are being handled it's not unreasonable to think Spurs management has written the season off.

i think in the past levy has sacked managers to save european qualification and there's nothing to save now if you think relegation is off the table. i think ange is done and we're not wasting money on sacking him or buying him players.

Well the problem with this is that relegation should never be considered off the table given where we are in the table.

Realistically we have too much quality to go down. But the same was said about Leicester. To not consider sacking Ange or reinforcing the team given where we are in the table just goes against everything that we know about Levy.

And even if Levy was hesitant there would still be actual football people like Lange and Paratici pushing for it.

The apparent state of zen just doesn't make sense and screams that something is going on.

agreed. i don't think you should flirt with disaster but levy probably figures 6 more points and we're safe. i think above all he's very cheap and that could be because he's prepping for selling or bringing in a big partner but either way i think he believes ange is a busted flush and he's not wasting another penny on him.

So let’s say 8 or 9 players.

What sort of percentage do you mean by significant? 50%? 40% 30% of league games??
Where is this 80% coming from? Destiny was play for a the most part and we have only lost Solanke recently. Until a few weeks ago from our starting 11 it was just the back 2 and goalie. Which everyone has been saying the replacements have done well. Spence > destiny and Porro most people are saying. Cuti has cost us about 5 goals with his laziness and was never dropped.

his contract is up in June so they won't be getting enormous money.
If we are not lining him up then really the clubs in charge should be charged with gross incompetence.
The results irola has got this season against the top teams is nothing short of a miracle. Something Ange could only dream of especially in the league. To beat forest, in the top 5-0 is amazing as they play a low block counter style something we struggle against. Also how many injuries do bmouth still have? Have we beat anyone 5-0 since Ange has been in charge? For all this bs about him being a great attacking coach we rarely wallop teams. Last season I think we scored more than 2 in only a handful of games. Hopefully we have enough talent to avoid relegation scrap and then bin him Eid of season. Then bring in iriola in the summer. Get a few quality players in then see us go. Bring back players like Devine, Donley, the young Croat CB as well. Bin off Werner, Johnson and Richi and get real sanity forwards. With iriola we could go places.
Funny how no one mentions Bmouths injuries yet ours are plastered everywhere. They don’t even have the budget we do for back ups. We still have £60M Richi, porro £40M, deki £40M, MADDs £40M etc. enough players who should have the quality to get us higher than we are.
