When are we getting our players back? Cause we’ll have 15 games left to play after today. Which would’ve been a good amount of games to put up a form worth giving him another season. What if we win the league cup, go well in Europa League, losing a tight semi to Lazio say, and get some of the inured players back and rally in the league and finish, say, 9th?
Would he deserve to stay?
Well, I’d say having a fit Romero and VDV for the rest of the season, Vicario, too, although Kinsky has done well, would give us a platform to build from. When are we getting our players back? reggie Cant pick himself to play, Only one person that picks the team (the manager) he could have used both spence & Reggie earlier in season but he didn't thats on him
I'm not saying Reggie is the best LB out there but using him a few times MAY have stopped Udogie from being injuried THAT is down to this manager can't you see that
Which games should he have picked Spence?
When he came back from injury there were 2 games I think he could’ve picked him, Fulham and I can’t remember the other one. Before that Gray was ahead of Spence in the rotation.
The revisionism on Spence is mental.
As for Reguillon, most fans had no idea why he was still here. If he plays now it’s because Ange didn’t send him to the u21’s like most other managers would. Remember when he played against Yamal vs Barca in pre season and faked an injury because he got cooked so badly?
Nah Ange is just a wanker lol the question was fine.^^^ Bollocks, the question was rude. One of the things I do like about Ange is he doesn’t buy into these “bait” questions from journos and just doesn’t buy into their narrative full stop.
And “a reporter is not there to be spoken to like that”, well guess what, neither is a manager.
The question essentially started, “So Ange, the team is shit…”.
No.The question essentially started, “So Ange, the team is shit…”.
Is he supposed to agree to that premise?

Think it's just how our club is ran. He hasn't been fancied by a number of managers at this point. Been United, been Brentford... Clearly available for 5 million in the summer. Either it's something we aren't privy to or Levy wanting too much in the modern game, but he's clearly here beyond our plans. That's an awkward situation for any manager and maybe playing Reguilon who likely doesn't want to be here either undermines what the manager is trying to do?Do you rate Reguillon?
Postecoglou clearly doesn’t rate him. If he did he would have played him. And if he is any good why does no other team want him?
Really don’t know why he got named in the squad tbh. Waste of everyone’s time.
But you are right about one thing. Once he’s named in the squad it’s then on Postecoglou to use him.
He’s not a yes man allegedly. So must take his proportion of the blame.
But if you think Ange actually wanted him in the squad then our opinions differ massively.
Does he really need to talk about it for it to be clear? As a manager he's responsible for the positive vibes at the club. Talking against Levy or the club could easily be seen as an easy excuse or out for him.At the end of the game and post media duties, Postecoglou should say talk to Lange or Levy.
Not the best coach and possibly in part to blame for the spate of I injuries, but talk about being left unhelped at a time of need.
Unreal.
A manager refuses to use the only LB we have avaliable, but the only ones to blame for that are Levy, board and ownership? Makes sense!Think it's just how our club is ran. Nobody really knows - the only thing we do know is that the situation is far from ideal and the only people you can blame for this is the board / Levy / ownership.
Look at United and what playing players who don't have the right attitude have done to the team over the years... It undermines everything you're trying to achieve.A manager refuses to use the only LB we have avaliable, but the only ones to blame for that are Levy, board and ownership? Makes sense!
Well, now he's on the pitch, what about that? Ange doesn't have a clue, mate.Look at United and what playing players who don't have the right attitude have done to the team over the years... It undermines everything you're trying to achieve.
Also wasn't he carrying a knock or unavailable for the last game?
Maybe he's only been deemed fit enough for half a game?
