Allegri, on a four month contract, with a 2year option, absolutely loaded with incentives = say £0.5m per position gained up the league, £5m for EL win, £2m for European Qualification (either domestic cup win), £10m per season (so about £4-5m for end of season).

Might be dull Italian tactics, but I would absolutely take that right now. Don’t take the option and get Iraola in the summer…
 
In two weeks time, we'll have played the Carabao and FA cup fixtures and likely been boshed out of both competitions.

That leaves 14 league games + 4 Europa league games (should we get to the RO16 and progress to the final). Minimum 18 games for a caretaker to potentially win our biggest trophy in (at least) 34 years, if not since our last European Cup in 1984, and stabilise us in the top 10 for a summer replacement.

Has to be Terzic for me. If he performs well, we revisit his contract for an extra two years. Benitez is past it.

What we need is a system of play....I actually believe that we have a team that can challenge for major honours. If they are actually managed. Solanke doesn't fit Ange's way of playing....but bring in someone who can actually manage a game and we'd see huge improvement.

Not sure if either of you have noticed but Solanke is out for 6 weeks; Brennan probably another 3-4; Richarlison already has a groin issue after playing 45 minutes; Odobert, Werner and Maddison all injured.

So yes we do need to shore up at the back and that will be helped by Cuti and VDV returning but whoever our caretaker manager is will find it difficult to score goals with no attackers available.

We need a forward as a matter of urgency.
 
I can only assume Levy is waiting for Ange to resign from this shit show.

I never ever wanted Poch sacked, I wanted him to get better backing after the Champions League final season. Some people I know still want Ange here, I admit he did seem a good fit initially but that’s gone by the wayside now.

It’s something to do with money or the club being sold, because it’s nothing to do with what’s going on on the pitch. Can’t be or else he’d be gone. Think about it for a minute. Given levy’s history of sacking managers there’s no way he’s keeping him in the job unless something else is in play.

I think all of us are just guessing , it’s utter chaos & of course no communication

Id love it to be a sale of the club but I just can’t see it .
