Patience is needed

Second season of a rebuild.
Recruitment has been majority players under 20, and replacing Kane with Solanke.

Players are behind the manager

The fans need to get behind the manager and the team.
Cheer them into great feats rather than jeering at their attempts.

I’ll loose more of you here, but as recent history to glean. Arteta sat in 15th in his second season in December, had a worse start to their 3rd season, and had trouble in the change room. The club stuck with him and the rebuild focused on youth.

Sacking the manager is not the answer right now (Either is Arteta). But a bit of patience, and the miracle of a quality January signing or 2, and a club all cheering as one. Let’s see where this squad can take us.

This opinion isn’t as unpopular as some on here would have you believe,

They will react with rage when they read this because any idea of positivity at this stage is offensive to them but the cold reality is that football isn’t what most of us think it is and we don’t have all the information.

Our season is far from dead. In fact, it’s heading into a pivotal week but Ange sticking to his guns and the club finally getting something done in the transfer market could completely flip the outlook in no time.

As Deki said “Opinions change”.

Mate, not sure if you have read this thread but kudos - you're gonna get absolutely reamed for this.

Interesting...so the 'Ange inners' are accused of trolling yet the 'Ange outers' can say this and get away with it, okay cool. :gallashmm:

I think it's fair game in here if for everyone to post in here, you emotional lot just need to deal with the posts you don't wanna read, it works both ways.

Mate, come on - it is their forum for now.

We will have our time in the sun again.

Because when I watch us concede 3 goals in one half against the worst attacking side in the league in Everton, and watch us play right into the hands of the worst team on form in the league in Leicester... and watch us fail to beat Tamworth in 90 minutes..

Certainly my first thought is.. if only the fans were a bit more bloody positive we''d be blowing these teams away.

Fucking happy clappers. They actually think a team wins games due to good energy and vibes and positivity. Not good tactics, players etc. Just everyone sitting in a big circle pretending we’re doing great.

Our fans were singing the Ange song while we were getting murdered. So many good vibes. Still got murdered.

er, fuck off, we are

dont hear any Ange out chants at the ground, the worst is the singing along of my club right or wrong is a bit tame

Half the fan base at least knows he HAS to go but we'll be supptrting all the way

explain which of the current club's metrics support your argument to give him time

hint - there won't be any

officially the worst spell of matches since the 1920's. Thats a fucking CENTURY

If i saw any resemblance of progress I would probably back this post. But as it is, I can't see any organisation in defense, any koordination in the high press and hardly any patterns when playing out from defence and attacking. In 19 or 20 months I think The least we can demand is progress, organisation and patterns of play. This combined with the position in the table and the trend off only losing, has me losing all hope. I don't see anything that gives me the faintest bit of hope. Therefore I think it's time to let Ange go. I don't know it Terzic, Allegri or even Mason is the right person to see out this season. But i think all 3 would have us end up better in the table at the end of the season.

Sorry. But I'm firmly Ange Out.

Ange said he was working hard for all the fans and not just the angry ones who want him out. I don't think those of us who want him fired feel that way out of an emotional response. We're just seeing bad football and bad results and want a change before things slide any further. I think blindly supporting a manager based on his personality and whether we are entertained by an occasional scoring outburst actually is an emotional response that isn't helpful. At this point, though, I'm resigned to another season of Postecoglou. He now has a free pass from the board to lose games. I don't think we'll be relegated, but I do think the board is signing on to long term mediocrity just because nobody will own the mistake Levy made hiring a manager with an unsustainable system.

Mason would do himself some good by getting away from Spurs. I have no idea how high the ceiling is on his potential, but what is he really learning by associating himself with this system?

I believe mentality and positivity has a big thing to do with football and winning. I think Ange has been doing the opposite of good vibes though he has spent the last month telling everyone and their dog it is ok to lose because of the injuries we have. When you are told you are tired you become tired.

This is why Poch used to bring in mind of matter speakers.
