blow in, blow out..bluff, bluster and take the money? Manage down, my doors always open, the usual bs . But while you're doing it dish out some advice on how you should support the club, provide some anecdotes, speeches , 'don't you say anything about my boys mate' .. and .......... 'I did it my way' . I get it, it's a retirement package?

what is weird is that people sing the manager songs. Pure cabaret. For someone with no connection to THFC, that is possibly a first?

Overall, it does appear that Spurs have had the worst injury problems in the league this season.

In addition to currently having 11 players out, the length of the different layoffs – and the importance of the various players – mean that Postecoglou probably does deserve some slack.

The starting centre-back pairing of Romero and van de Ven have been out since October, with the Argentine having foot and ankle problems and the Dutchman suffering hamstring issues. Both were rushed back for the December match against Chelsea, but neither finished the game and they’ve been suffering issues ever since.

Vicario has been out since the end of November, while another starting defender, Destiny Udogie, has been out since the end of 2024, and they are now lacking cover at centre-back after the injury to Dragusin.

In midfield, Rodrigo Bentancur missed two league matches through concussion, while Pape Sarr missed two matches this year with a knock and James Maddison has been out since the end of January.

Brennan Johnson has been out since mid-January with a calf strain, with Dominic Solanke suffering a knee injury around the same time.

Wilson Odobert has been out since September, while Richarlison has missed a total of 15 games in the league and was then forced off against Brentford last week. Finally, Werner has been out since the beginning of 2025.

You just post stuff. Without explaining what you try to prove.
So basically you are writing half a sentence.

I have not seen anyone questioning that we have a lot of injuries this season. An awful lot really. It is true and it is factual.
But question is - WHY do we have it?

And for me bigger question - why did we have massive injury crises and fatigue during last season, when we only played EPL (even dropped out of cups very early)? So in fact two seasons in row. Two seasons under same manager. That is making everyone running every second of every game...

Ange isn't managing the worst injury crisis in history. Ange isn't the only one to have ever managed a team playing twice a week. Injuries counts are high for many teams this season, yes even Villa had their key players out in the FA Cup match on Sunday. We've lost or drawn to every team below us this season, even with a full squad - Southampton and Ipswich are conveniently forgotten - where have our high standards gone? Conte managed injuries (yes it was bad) and got the sack after dropping out of the top four while telling the truth in a press conference (it was hard to hear as a fan, but admittedly he was right).

How has Ange convinced so many that being in cup competitions and playing multiple times a week is a bad thing?

It's the whole damn point of being a successful club!!

Before Ange, we used to banter rivals for not playing in Europe and dropping out of cups. We bantered Arse for playing Europa on a Thursday instead of a Wednesday in the UCL like we were. What has happened to this club's ambitions?

Ange speaks and his disciples listen. Each new proclamation nullifies previous words uttered. Anyone calling him out on his blatant inconsistencies and hypocrisy is a part of the grand agenda against him. What the fuck has happened to this club
No it wasn't!

Hearing someone speak the truth about our beloved club is refreshing! I laughed when i saw it.

Really? Show me 1 single club that has ever had an injury crisis like this. Singe game week 8, Ange has only had 3 senior players consistently available - Son, Kulu, Porro.

Since November, that have not had more than 5 days rest between games - No time to prepare whatever makeshift squad is available.

Teams do well because of consistency; the same core players every game with some rotation. Spurs have fielded 12 combinations of defence this season.

Fuck, City lose Rodri and their season collapses. When Liverpool lost VVD for a season they dropped immediately out of the race. We've been without our CB's, Keeper, Playmaker and Strikers - and expect the same performances from kids who have never played premier league level football.

For millionth of time - before ALL THOSE INJURIES HIT- WE WERE 10TH ON THE TABLE (!) having lost to Ipswich and Palace.

You have no leg to stand upon - we were shit in the very beginning of the season too.
Like we were at the end of last season with near full availability.

Kind of on the fence with the whole Ange thing, on one hand they are the third highest scoring team in the PL, but have conceded the 5th most in the league. At the beginning of the season first 8-9 games I actually thought they played the best football of all the teams just weren’t getting the results, super tight in the narrow losses but dominated possession. Then injuries set in 1,2,34,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 not just squad players either, 5 locked in starters and the rest very much part of the team. Now being forced to play literal kids, players out of position against seasoned pros at the top of the game every 3 days with no rest, IDGAF who you are, do that for 3 months straight and that shit takes its toll on your body which is very evident looking at their energy levels.
Ange in ange out doesn’t matter as long as there are that many players out not even Conte could help them win… ohh wait he flopped also

Well the turd claims players coming back over the next few weeks.
Hopefully they have learnt not to leave massive gaps in their time off.
Anyway you band of Happy Clappers we will see soon enough and if we lift the Europa and rise up the league then us antis will come here and doff our caps to you.

I don't know why a portion of this fanbase keeps getting worked up over the possibility of managerial change. It's routine stuff, in fact clubs that football fans often envy in terms of how well run they are don't hesitate to pull the plug on their freshly appointed managers all the time. This season alone;

Dortmund sacked Sahin,a longtime former player of theirs mind you, after 6.5 months.
Milan sacked Fonseca, who had replaced their former title winning manager Pioli during the summer, after 6 months.
Roma sacked club legend De Rossi after 8 months, replaced with him Juric, and sacked him after 2 months as well.
Feyenoord sacked Priske after over 7 months.

Managerial change is not inherently destabilizing. Nor is there an arbitrary length of time, measured in years, a manager is owed before he can justifiably be sacked. It's a moot point in the context of this debate anyway, as Ange is already given more than enough time to show his worth.
Us changing managers all the time are just sad, no more no less! And certainly nothing to celebrate.

Us changing managers as often as we have done, means we are doing something wrong as a club.

And a new manager means, a new system, new players, etc. It's starting all over again. We as a club has never had any time to settle, to grow a mentality,under Enics ownership.

So to celebrate another manager getting sacked, will be like celebrate when we lose, to celebrate another failure.

I thought I posted a whole article which included several paragraphs about Spurs?

There is definitely questions to be asked about the relationship between Ange’s methods and our injury clusterfuck.

We also had a lot of injuires last season while playing mostly once per week, probably already been said but surely we needed to be changing the way we train and press during games so players aren't just getting burnt out and injured?

The only weird thing about this interpretation (with which I otherwise agree) is that I find this guy's PR shocking, the messaging is awful, right down to the ill-fitting suits and bizarre staring at the floor (what's all that about?) Could go on but I have work to do - sick of seeing a club I've thumped loads of time and money into still resembling amateur hour.
Oh I agree I’m completely baffled how his PR has worked but you see Twitter posts with thousands of likes saying “my gaffer” to clips of his waffle in pressers.

I even think the levyout crowd getting bigger is a direct result of a lot of ange fans wanting to shift blame. Where was the energy when we were actually challenging but getting fucked by the ownership? the pressure should have come when we self imposed a transfer ban on Poch after multiple title challenges

This past 18 months has had me look at our fanbase very differently.

I don’t think anyone is questioning the amount of injuries. It’s the why and it seems both obvious and complicated at the same time.

A convenient excuse for some players.

not true - before them we were 6th - 3 points off 3rd after beating City.

Absolutely not true from your side - City game was very much with makeshift squad already. With Dragusin and Davies in CB positions.

Last game we had everyone bar Odobert and VDV was Ipswich. Which we lost. At home.
Dropping us to 10th. Having 16 points from 10 games. So tempo of 61 points across full season.

And having achieved phenomenal results such as
1:1 vs Leicester
2:3 vs Brighton after being 2:0 up
0:1 vs Crystal Palace who was winless at the time of this game
1:2 vs Ipswich at home

Don't know about you, maybe this is kind of results you are happy to see us getting. To me those were absolute fucking pathetic.
And yes, I did leave out another losses to Woolwich and Newcastle from that list...

It’s actually very mild considering we haven’t been this bad for nearly 30 years and given the fact the manager was already massively under qualified to get the role in the first place.

Not a single other big club (I’m including villa and Newcastle) would accept this, but large portion of our fanbase been brainwashed by this guys PR
Do you put no weight at all on the fact that we are missing around 10 senior players for most of the last 3 months while playing twice every week with the same group of 12-14 players? I'd imagine the last 3 months has almost been unmanagable.

There is stark comparisons with what happened to Newcastle last season where they'd a similar spell of injuries and just crashed and burned. I remember Trippier arguing with fans after the games because they were getting booed off the park after each defeat despite them playing kids like Lewis Miley every week. I'm sure they all wanted a head on a stick too and wanted Eddie Howe sacked at the time. Lucky enough for them he was not sacked and he's turned it around this year!

Ange could definitely have done better. In fact he couldn't have done any worse the past few months. But there isn't a manager around who would have us competing every 3 days with just 12 -14 fit senior players. You might call this an excuse but its just reality that it has had a massive impact on our season. You can ignore it if you like but we would be a lot higher up the table if we had even half the injured players available for the last 3 months!

my guess is that the Chairman has his number. People were appointed at a senior level to manage, appoint etc. The season is gone, it's reputations now? After the last manager (although the term wasn't as long?) I would expect that there are measures in any contract. It may need to play out? all pure guessing by me but the shame is the Europa. In my opinion this can be saved by better football decisions and management.

fans on twatter, it's just a sideshow. Fans in the airport concourse bar /waiting lounge singing Robbie Williams songs and some other weird song, that's what baffles me.

Meh, one game later we were up in 6th, 3 points off 3rd - regardless of who we lost too.

How do you think Slot would get on with Liverpool if he was missing 10 senior players for the busiest 3 months of the season.

You know what. Lets do a deep dive. Below is the like for like players missing atm.

Vicario = Allison
Romero = Kontate
VDV = VVD
Dragusin = Gomez
Udogie = Robertson
Maddison = Szoboszlai
Johnson = Diaz
Werner = Chiesa
Richarlison = Darwin
Solanke = Salah
Odobert = Jota

So the available Liverpool team would be:
Kelleher
Trent Endo Quansah Tsimikas
Jones Gravenberch Macallister
Elliott Gakpo Nyoni

That team is worse than the one that lost to Plymouth. Now play that same team every 3 days! Or else play the kids to rotate them! Wonder where they'd be in the league??
