1. Chelsea won the Champions League under Di Matteo.
2. Barcelona won the Champions League under Enrique.
3. Brazil was so talented in 2002 just about any competent manager would have guided them to a World Cup
4. Zidane wasn't a brilliant tactician, just knew how to manage ego's, when he guided RM to the Champions League
5. Argentina won the World Cup in 1986 because of Maradona, nobody talks about Bilardo.

I have zero belief that we’ll actually be able to outplay European sides over two legs. Sure I’ll get behind the lads and support the team, because I desperately want a trophy, but you’re kidding yourself if you think Ange knows how to do it.

We lost to a marginally better team. Could have got a point, could have lost by more.

It was a result that just reflected the reality of where this team is atm, regardless of what team we picked.

At least now we can see those 3 changed the game when they came in and we have something to be confident about when we start them against AZ.

Or... maybe... had Ange not have left our best three players on the bench until midway through the second half, we'd have won.

Face it. Our clown of a manager fucked up and picked the wrong team and as a result we lost.

I'm utterly sick of the sight of him. It's Emperor's New Clothes territory now. He's a shit manager and I can't wait until he's sacked and returns to obscurity where he belongs.
 
I can understand Son and Kulu being rested. Not so much Spence. But if they had started and got injured we could be fucked for EL. I don't know why he persists in Werner, that's really pissing me off now. There's no point, he won't be here next season, just give up on him ffs.

Because he wanted Werner and he is shit. He needs him to perform so he can save face but that is never going to happen with Werner.

I will argue number 5 - he practically invented 5-3-2 to make sure Argentina were horrible to try and score against whilst relying on Maradona and Caniggia to produce magic. He even gets credit from Jonathan Wilson for this in his inverting the pyramid book

Werner could be the worst striker I've seen since Rasiak. Bringing him on was a terrible decision. We may as well have played with 10 men.

The prick makes Janssen look like R9

I think we have to accept that the hierarchy are going to wait until the summer now, I just hope we can drag ourselves to the semi at least and give ourselves something to look forward to towards the end of the season

Got to ask. Do you think Romero is hiding and doesn't care about Spurs?

A lot of"fans" who think Romero should be done because he hides especially for internationals also think Ange rushed him back and he played when wasn't fit.
