There’s always going to be some sympathy for Ange because he has to work for Levy. Even some world class managers have found that impossible, so a scrub like Ange never had a chance.

But surely even the most sympathetic fan knows deep down that Ange doesn’t have what it takes to compete at this level. You can’t lose at home to Van Nistelrooy’s Leicester and still pretend to know what you’re doing.

It could happen as a one off fluke. The issue is it also accompanies needing extra time to go past Tamworth, losing to Ipswich at home (they have 2 away wins all season including this), the absolute disaster that was *that* Alkmaar game and about 12 other awful results this season.

And the best bit is: we weren’t unlucky. It wasn’t a game where we battered them but the ball wouldn’t go in. It was a tight match.

What was it he said a few weeks ago? He dont believe in assists. Sorry basically hes written off great players at our club like hoddle. Arguably our greatest ever player. In a nutshell, his tactics are frenetic chaos football and fuck all else.

I think this will be his last job in management

No serious club in the top 5 leagues will touch him with a barge pole and I don't think his ego will allow him to drop back down to an SPL or Belgium league etc after managing a "top 6" premier league team

He might do what he did after he failed with the Aussie youth team. Go in to coaching/technical roles that aren’t direct management and rebuild from there.

I think he will end up going back to being king of the hill in some rubbish league again though tbh.

Can't see it at his age now

He'll be set for life when the bald goblin finally wakes up and puts him out of his misery

International football maybe , could see him taking on a role like that perhaps

Not great but done it plenty of times if I had baked beans as well.
