Tottenham’s Worst PL Seasons by Losses:

1993-94 : 19 lost
1997-98 : 17 lost
2003-04 : 16 lost
2024-25 : 15 lost (not out -9 more games to go)
2013-14 : 14 losses
2019-20 : 13 losses

Ange Postecoglou on course to be the worst PL Tottenham manager...
Close.

1993-94 : 19 lost (42 game season)
2003-04 : 19 lost
1997-98 : 16 lost
2024-25 : 15 lost (not out -9 more games to go

this is levys biggest blunder since hes been here, and theres been plenty.

25 years of failure and he's actually gone backwards now. this is what you get when someone who isnt a football person tries to get involved in football. he hasn't got a clue.

i cant remember who it was (might of even been alex ferguson) but i remember seeing a famous manager say that the chairman he was working for didn't understand that there were levels in the game basically. the manager had to explain to him theres a big difference between a premier league player and a championship player. you cant train a championship player to be a top premier league player, theres limits to their talent.

this is the same situation but with the manager role.
If I had three wishes, one of them would be getting rid of levy. That's how much I hate the guy

Got some tough fixtures coming up (all right almost all games seem tough for us right now). I can definitely see us having 20 or more losses at the end of the season.

Maybe if you manage Brisbane Roar, you look at the likes of Palace and Fulham and think these clubs are something special and having your arses handed to you by such elite opposition is no bad thing.

But when you are Tottenham Hotspur, losing to these types of teams in such insipid ways is simply not acceptable.

Nothing in this man’s CV suggested he should have been assistant First Team coach, let alone actually in charge. That he then surrounds himself with even worse tat speaks volumes. None of this mob would be employed in the Premiership elsewhere. Arse holes.

We aren’t even good in Europe either so the whole focusing on EL stuff is nonsense. Losing to AZ (and being lucky it was only 1-0) was abysmal and in the second game we strung together a few nice attacks but they had chances they didn’t take because they’re championship level.

I expect nothing from a decent team like Frankfurt over two legs. AZ, Elfsborg and Ferencavros, those are the teams we can be relied on to beat in Europe.

Like I said, this has been such a bizarre -to say the least- appointment since day one that I initially was sympathetic to people who were trying to see a manager in him that was never really there. Because the alternative explanation, that Levy and co dropped the ball to such an unprecedented degree, seemed to violate the principle of parsimony above anything else. In fact that was the reason why I initially tried extra hard to see the good in him, in a way that I usually don't do with other managers. His extremely weak background actually worked in his favour in this context.

But at this point we have everything we need to conclude that Levy and co did indeed drop the ball with this appointment to a degree that they can reasonably be accused of malevolence instead of simple incompetence. There's no excuse anymore for defending this guy in any shape or form, or for continuing to keep him on the job.

Going back to the basics with Mason, featuring a simple 4-4-2 and route one football, would still be infinitely better than this. And this is coming from someone who neither rates Mason nor likes the idea of keeping an interim in charge for an extended period of time.

I remember you (i think it was you) was one of the only ones that agreed at the time it was utter madness. I would say 90% of the fanbase claimed they admired Ange for it and were praising him galore.
that was the moment i realised this idiot is not a football manager at all. since then its been proven over and over again.

the fans that applauded that shite havent got a clue about football either. so you can see why they took to this chancer.

fans that thought that was 'brave' should go and take an interest in another sport or hobby because they are embarrassing themselves with football.
