So what do we think of the Glasner rumours? I'm surprised it took this long tbh.

Just looking at his stats. His Win % at Palace and Frankfurt is nothing special tbh, but his loss % is a little more interesting. He's at only 25% at Palace. AngeLOSS is at 37% in all games for us.
In the PL, this season only, Palace are at 30% we're at 51%

In terms of honours - won a real tournament in the Ropey League in 2022, unlike the Fosters Cup and Castlemain XXXX Title in Australia.

Not as interesting as the other main 3 we're linked to, but I'm not averse to it. He was in demand before Palace and, I believe, wanted by Bayern from Palace before Kompany.
I’m reasonably sanguine on who we bring in as manager. There’s no point predicting anything: the club defies logic and it’s perfectly obvious that the competitive impediments are internal.

That said, I want a professional, matter of fact manager that brings in defensive structure and can coach a press. Other than that, it’s down to the standard of players we bring in.

I am sick to the back teeth of personality managers. I don’t want a temperamental Latin prima donna or romantic Australian fool.

Glasner appears to conduct himself sensibly, so I see no real reason why he shouldn’t be the latest sucker.

As a pro manager? Hell no. Same applies to players btw.

He is the manager, he makes decisions. And his judgement should not be affected by either press or online fans opinions.

Only place he can't hide from direct feedback is stadium during the match and i get when he refers to something that happens at the stands, no problem with that.
I think that anyone who cops heaps of sustained abuse whether its good natured or not would react. After all most of us are human after all!

He isn't used to losing so it's obvious why he's reacting like this, if he was winning then it's a different story altogether.

Any manager in fact would react the same way especially those who normally win, Conte threw his toys out the pram spectacularly when he was at the end of his tether, we hire another manager who is used to winning will react the same.

It doesn't matter who the next manager is... his managerial longevity here at Spurs will be 18-24 months. So no point getting sucked into supporting a new manager who won't be here come year 3.

To be fair. I do think that this is a bigger issue than just at Spurs.

Per this article from 2023, the average tenure for a manager in a top flight club across Europe is 16 months.

Not saying that it isn't an issue for us. But we aren't the only club with this issue.

But across 25 years ownership I don't think there is many clubs who have had 12 managers not including interims and caretakers... I get that managers seem to be on a constant merry go round but we seem to be stuck in an ever decreasing circle of terrible candidates. I'm so dull to who our next manager is going to be as I know full well it will be the 5th or 6th option and be the 17th highest paid manager in the league... Glasner, Frank, Iraola, Silva... none of them excite me. All look ok with a team with little to no ambition other than PL survival... it appears we are now joining those clubs so maybe one of these four will be perfect for Levy... here is your objective. Please stay in the Premier League.

If it gets Ange sacked...
Romero has form for it.

Did it against Inter.

I've never liked him since then.

The players owe it to the Spurs supporters who pay their money this evening and turn up to give them something back for putting us through this bollocks all season.

I never want Spurs to lose.

I want Ange and Romero gone at the end of the season but I demand that they do their best for Spurs until they go.
