If Spurs get a multi goal battering and the crowd are calling out Levy; Ange gets sacked in the morning. The club aren't sacking him during European tie no matter the score.
If it gets Ange sacked...If Spurs get a multi goal battering and the crowd are calling out Levy; Ange gets sacked in the morning.
Let's hope Romero hasn't got his red card head on tonight.
But across 25 years ownership I don't think there is many clubs who have had 12 managers not including interims and caretakers... I get that managers seem to be on a constant merry go round but we seem to be stuck in an ever decreasing circle of terrible candidates. I'm so dull to who our next manager is going to be as I know full well it will be the 5th or 6th option and be the 17th highest paid manager in the league... Glasner, Frank, Iraola, Silva... none of them excite me. All look ok with a team with little to no ambition other than PL survival... it appears we are now joining those clubs so maybe one of these four will be perfect for Levy... here is your objective. Please stay in the Premier League. To be fair. I do think that this is a bigger issue than just at Spurs.
Per this article from 2023, the average tenure for a manager in a top flight club across Europe is 16 months.

Not saying that it isn't an issue for us. But we aren't the only club with this issue.
Romero has form for it.
Didn't we sack Jol at half-time of a UEFA Cup tie against Getafe?

It was a cunt's trick.I was at that game, the rumours quickly spread and we were singing his name.
It was a sad way for him to go.
Yep I've already started hating Iraola, Frank, Glasner and Silva in advance, more efficient that way.It doesn't matter who the next manager is... his managerial longevity here at Spurs will be 18-24 months. So no point getting sucked into supporting a new manager who won't be here come year 3.

naw he's just using us as a shield. he's bitching about his own treatment and just saying 'us' instead of 'i'. it's right out of angie's pathetic playbook. don't think for a minute he gives two shits about 'us'People need to be able to divide Ange the man from Ange the manager.
The points he's made in the last couple of press conferences are absolutely true, and something most of us have called out before, but people are ignoring that and using it as a stick to bash him with. He's actually sticking up for the club and calling out the media for bashing the club every week.
He's not the best manager in the world, and he will likely be gone in the summer (although if he wins the Europa he should be kept on IMO) - But he actually cares about the club and what people make of it.
Dim bastard.
Chelsea are an outlier... they replace managers whether they win the big trophies or not...In the big 6 us and Chelsea are pretty similar in numbers.
United and Woolwich at the opposite end of the scale.
You're talking about a club that sacked a manager during a European tie...The club aren't sacking him during European tie no matter the score.

I like he is sticking up for us but he's bringing it all on himself. Journos now smell blood in the water and are getting their own back.
