Thought second half was very good with a shitload of chances. Not sure why people are flapping about tactics. A bit of luck and could have had 4-5 goals.
And yet here people crying in their basements and calling Ange names. Some ears deserve a cupping
is it luck that Declan Rice has NEVER scored a direct free kick before, and then scores 2 in ten minutes when absolutely needed... or 'bad luck' that he's failed every single time before...?

WHY..
isn't BJ subbed
WHY
are the subs coming on with 10m left?
WHY
isn't Spence playing?
WHY
is the front 3 toothless?
WHY
are we still persisting in scoring goals inside that tiny box
Altogether now.... "Delilah???"

What a whiner. “Woe is me”.
It's who we are, mate! To be fair, the fans have been on that rant for years...
Pedro Mendes/Olt Trafford... Lasagnegate... Sissoko 'handball' CL Final.... Every decent thing we have being taken away from us...

"Ha, It's easy this way, no? This is ze story of Tottenham... For 20 years they won nothing"

:contehandshead:

I’ll never understand the dumb fan obsession with hitting the woodwork and thinking that means you ‘should’ score.

The goalkeeper pulled off a couple of decent saves and yes, van de ven missed a good chance. For us to win 4 or 5-1 we would have been exceptionally clinical with what we actually created.
Only because SOMETIMES it can hit the bar and go in... There's no 'right' to score, but physics dictate, that if it hits the bar at a certain angle, it CAN bounce in... Same as it can balloon away like it did, twice last night...
I also think it's yo do with the idea that technically, the keeper is beaten at that point, so what happens after is down to angles and... dare I say, LUCK?!

Last night showed again how poorly coached we are. Yet also showed the potential of the side if we had a proper manager in charge.

It's galling, that we could have had our hands on one or maybe two trophies this season under a good manager.

Ange is so out of his depth. Last night you could see the potential of the side, but they are handicapped by Ange, the lack of coaching, organisation and proper set up.

I can't wait until the cunt is sacked.

Just seen him saying this utter tripe, he’s becoming more of an embarrassment every week.

The “Footballing gods”sure haven’t been on his side against the top 10 in the premier league against whom we’ve won 2, drawn 2 and lost 12, 8 points against the top 10 all season, footballing gods my arse, you’re just a pig headed useless fraud who’s been found out Ange.

Levy needs to buy one way ticket to Frankfurt for this guy. And let him come back with the team only if we pass Eintracht.

Otherwise - give him ticket straight to Melbourne or Perth. Frankfurt is big airport so for sure there will be direct flight. Dont mind if Daniel joins Ange trip in such case.

This could be many times in any game from the last 18 months. You can't play football and expect to win games when you're facing this situation time and again.

There was also another, very similar one in second half - but this time VdV speed saved us so he managed to come back and clean.

Its ridicoulous how couple simple passes in the central area made by opponent result in such opportunity game after game after game.

Worst one was Liverpool at home when we somehow got it back to 2-1 just before half time, only for his bird brain tactics to allow us to go 3-1 down in stoppage time.
Many goals have fucked me off this season (and last) but that one is at the very top.
We were out of the game at 2-0
At 2-1 just as the ref was about to blow, who knows. Maybe we could have sorted that out. Maybe we could have just kept it to a 2-1 loss.
Instead we end up 1-5 down at home, should have been 8 by the time we fluked a couple of goals and woke them back up again.

That’s the game that perfectly demonstrates Anges shortcomings more than any other, everything about that game showed a manager out of his depth.

Wonder if Ange thinks about the stuff he's done wrong here, or does he think he's done everything right ?
Man, he's just like Levy. They're perfect...proper visionaries, geniuses. They only make the best decisions, only they can play 4D chess. When it goes tits up? Nah it's obviously someone else's fault. They'll only take the blame for the cameras, but behind the scenes they're utterly convinced they're grandiose and the best thing to ever happen to Tottenham Hotspur.

Guarantee you Levy thinks, "Hey wait a minute, see where that club was when I took over. I've turned them into a perennial top 4-6 club. I won them a trophy. Under my leadership they made the CL Final and a few domestic semis. I attracted top managers like Jose and Conte...and turned unheralded Poch into a Real Madrid-calibre coach. I've signed several billions worth of players and lots of great names. I sold Bale to Real for a record fee...and built a special relationship with them. Did the same with Bayern for Kane. Also, I built the stadium and it's also me who's totally redefined the business side of the club. I have only done great, amazing things for the club. On the rare few occasions when things went to shit, it's because directors, managers, med staff, players, even fans...fucked up and didn't deliver. Also the media and refs are against us. I can't be held responsible for any of our fails. COYS, Daniel. "

As for that fat bastard Ange: "I got top 5 (after being P1 for weeks), we're in the EL quarter finals, narrowly lost to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup semis. I humiliated Man City and also smashed Man United. I've developed Archie, Bergvall, Spence...given other kids like Mikey their big break. My system is revolutionary...the media don't understand elite football so of course they're gonna criticise it, plus they hate me cause I'm an Ozzie. We've only ever lost games cause of injuries or fucking VAR. It's who I am, mate."

He's not getting sacked regardless of the wolves result as it doesn't matter.
One little ray of hope, should we get knocked out on Thursday, is that we don't play Forest until Monday. There's a little bit of room for the inevitable to happen.
But, TBH, I still think he'd be here, regardless of results, until after next Monday.

That’s the game that perfectly demonstrates Anges shortcomings more than any other, everything about that game showed a manager out of his depth.
It also showed players aren't doing the obvious thing too often. I find it hard to believe they're all too stupid to be cautious. And that it's the players fault for such frequent, and identical brain farts.
It's the tactics. It's always been the tactics. I think Spence has even alluded to players doing what they're told to do whether they agree with it or not.

When a play pays off and we score. The fanbois are out in force saying it was a tactical masterstroke. But when it fails, as it so often does, it's the players fault.
But it's the same thing. A risky pass. Trying to press up the pitch leaving gaps at the back. It can't work all the time. So when it works how is it the coach and when it doesn't, it's the players?

That and Brighton and Chelsea.

Brighton 1st half really good, 2-0 up, they just make a couple of tweaks at H/T and strolled to a win without much effort. At soon as it went 2-1 it felt inevitable what would happen and Postecoglou did nothing, no tactical changes, no subs until too late.

Chelsea, started well enough, 2 slips from them and 2-0 up. Do we go more cautious, sit deeper and hit them on the counter? Course not, everyone carries on bombing forward like in a school playground and they pick us off with glaring holes at the back. An easy win again for the oppo despite being 2-0 down away from home. Embarrassing in game management

What was his logic behind taking off Maddison for Sarr? Its insane what he does. Can't read a game at all
Man, he shouldn't have started Udogie and Son...but he did. What message that sends to Djed and Odo?

Then waited til the 80th min to make subs, when Sonny was atrocious all night...and yes brought on Sarr for Mads when badly needing a goal. Also gave Richy only 2 or 3 minutes.

Once again we were flat & toothless in the first half...those patterns of play up front are diabolical. So predictable, so boring, so ineffective.

Once again we conceded first. Plus so easy to carve open the rest of the game...how many 3 or even 4v2 Frankfurt had? It's a miracle we didn't get punished...a braver & better team puts 3 or 4 past us last night.

The only credit I give him is for putting a rocket up their arse at HT. Not that it had that great an impact, mind you.

Maddison and Son looked knackered.
Just a thought, but when you know that Maddison has shit stamina, which is something you could've figured out after only a couple training sessions...well maybe you could've put him on a special conditioning program the past 12ish months? May also help if he stopped coming so deep, pretending to be Pirlo or Xavi. Not arguing with the refs constantly would help save his energy too.

As for Sonny, go figure...maybe if he didn't start or play 90 week in week out, maybe he'd be a bit fresher come crunch time. Also seems rather logical to not use him as a touchline-hugging left winger in that shitty system where his space is clogged by Udogie and Maddison. He looks dead on his feet? Well maybe the club's hierarchy should leave him in fucking peace and stop using him as a commercial whore to attract all them South Korean business partnerships and matchday tourists.

We'll see , if Frankfurt can't raise their level higher than this next week at home and if we play like we did second half then they won't get so lucky again
We'll also have Big kulu Sexy back 😎

Wouldn't play any starters against wolves at all.

It's not over yet.
You do realise Frankfurt's gameplan was to sit back & counter? Knowing we'd fuck up, lose possession plenty and leave gigantic gaps at the back...whilst being rather toothless upfront.

They clearly came to get a draw, they trust themselves to get the job done at their ground.
