It is interesting to see the difference in our fortunes after year 1 of Ange (5th) and this season (16th), with one major difference being that Chris Daves was the main assistant first team coach last year, and he left for Birmingham at the end of last season and just posted incredible results in his first seasons asa a manager (P46 W34 D9 L3 Points 111). Incredibly, for a team that has amassed 111 points in the league they average less than 2 goals a game (F84 A31).

Looks like Levy let the wrong one go!
Or could anyone win League 1 spending more than the other 23 teams combined - just a thought...

People spend too much time in here manifesting losing matches as opposed to winning, weird behaviour. 😖
The crazy thing is that these so called fans saying that we'll lose the final under Ange, actually want us to lose the final. That way they can gloat in the glory of telling a bunch of people they don't know on the internet, that they knew it would happen, and that they know best....

This is just pure speculation though.

What WILL happen is that if we win the final, there will be an agenda from certain people on here. We would have won because 'Utd didn't turn up, or we got lucky, or the players won that in spite of Ange'

If we lose the final, it'll be all because of Ange, and 'we definitely would have won that final with any other manager, even Wayne Rooney would have won that final for us in a second rate competition'

How about stop speculating, get behind the team and see what happens....
They are all fair questions though... Would anyone be able to make it if Ange can?
It's just being realistic. How is being realistic in conflict with being behind the team?

I'd rather have Rooney for the final of course. He understands how a final is played and won. Ange understands how to lose. He's the record loser since when?

Yeah, that's the difference. I'm not behind that loser but I'm behind most of the players.

It's just the negativity. If we make it, why can't fans just embrace it and try and find some positivity instead of spending the next 2 weeks finding reasons why we'd lose just to fit their agenda?

Rooney is a train wreck of a manager, everything that guy touches goes to shit. Great player, can't manage!

Chris Davies was a big loss and has Brum flying. Just read he's amassed the highest points total in world pro football (111).

All of Ange's lot can go to pot. No more Jedinaks. And frankly Mason needs to be shuffled off to the Championship... for the sake of his own career if nothing else.

Brum spent £30m on 17 players last summer.
Their nearest "rivals" Wrexham & Huddersfield spent around £4m each.
Huddersfield made a net profit, unlike the other 2 who's net figures aren't different to their spend.
To put that spend in perspective, Coventry had the highest Net Spend in the league above and that was only about 2/3's the amount. And THEY were miles ahead of the rest in net spend terms.
Birmingham are the Man City of League 1 with no Arse, Liverpool, Chelsea, United, Newcastle, Spurs or Villa to lay a glove on them financially.

He will lose the last game against united in the final and you'll realize it was all for nothing.

Could have been different if we sacked him as a surprise before the final. But imagine if they keep Mount again for the final. What has he actually done for spurs as a player?

Imagine actually giving a real spurs legend a crack at the final. Could be gazza. Then it would've been worth. But with Ange for the final? What a fucking travesty.

This has always been the gamble with the Europa League. Always.
But only recently has that gamble been worth the risk.

Yup, putting their own self inflated ego and importance over the club they supposedly support, nasty work.

Living in an internet bubble of always proclaiming to be correct doesn't have any skill to it, it just means you're a miserable twat who manifests in the perceived bad moments this club goes through and you do it to make yourself feel better.

Oh go and do one

every fan wants to win the EL. Every one.

A lot of us have become indifferent to PL matches when we're not there. At one stage it looked like the Fraud wouldve been fired after any number of pathetic performances. Take yer pick. Ipswich, Palace, Brighton, Villa, Tamworth, LFC x2, CFC, AFCB. So at least there was the thought that THIS TIME he just had to go. But no.

You really are an absolute tosser. Can't believe youre a fan at all.

We're beyond wanting us to lose a game to prove we are right.
We are right whether we win or not.
If we win, it's a team win. Ange, Jedinak, the squad. Lange. Munn. The bloke in block 530 who screams like a girl every match.
Ange is not solely responsible for Spurs winning a cup. In EXACTLY the same way Graham wasn't and Ramos wasn't.
Also exactly the same reason we didn't win anything under Poch. Everyone has to put their hand up.

Will you stay a Spurs fan when Ange is gone? Or will you wait for him to win the Kylie Minogue Cup back in Aus and then gloat about how great he is as he's won another cup?

Looks like the players know he's dead man waddling and have binned off the PL. Why run your arse into the ground because he's be gone as soon as the seasons over.

But in the EL they are putting in a shift and they're also playing in a very different way. Maybe you hadn't noticed, you are fairly clueless after all.

The last startin line up was selected to rest players for the EL. I'm pretty sure the players didn't select the line up.

Cheers mate. I'm familiar with the context surrounding the club.

It doesn't change the fact that Davies has been successful and we were left with dossers in the coaching staff.

And?

You’ll be gloating if we win. Telling us all how magnificent Ange is.

I support Spurs. Have done for 45 years.

I want:

A) To win the EL.
B) The arrogant cunt sacked the next day.

Yep. The club needs to win this really badly to get that no trophy for 17 years stat off our backs and to give us CL football so we have a passable chance of a decent summer rather than more Levy austerity. I think he's the worst manager we've ever had and extremely unlikeable but i support Spurs. Its not about him.

It's hard to credit a coach when a team is so far ahead of their rivals they'd probably have walked it without the coach is all I'm saying.
Be interesting if he survives next season where the competition is likely more equal.
Same for the Wrexham coach, especially as he's been there through all of their promotions.

So why the constant drivel from people making statements that we'll never win the final under Ange.....just let it play out.
But whinging about it for the next two weeks isn't going to change the outcome one bit.
If we win, it is a collective effort, I'm with you there. If we lose, certain people on here will lay the blame solely at Ange's feet, regardless of the circumstances.

Nah I'll swap teams when Ange is gone, I mean, I've supported Spurs for 40 years, grew up going to the Lane with my Dad.
I moved to Australia 14 years ago, apparently that means I don't get a say anymore....

Funny, when I moved here, all I heard is 'you're not another one of those whinging poms are you?', I always replied 'nah, that's just a stereotype, we're not really like that'.......then I joined this forum, and kind of see what they mean now!
