Possibly.
But don't you want to give it try? Are you content with fighting for 4th?
How long have ENIC owned this club?
4th is the absolute ceiling for these owners, we know this...like what are you expecting to change overnight?

Possibly.

Win the final, see what that attracts! You need top players for Ange ball, see how Flick has Barca playing for example...that's why it won't work at this club because this club won't get him the players he needs to succeed.
I still want a new coach next season and it's mainly for that reason.
I like Ange. Always have. And I obviously hope he wins us this trophy. For us. For him. I'd love him to be able to smug it up to all the haters he's had from day one.
He will go in the summer though. There are too many now who will turn everything back toxic the moment something goes wrong next season.
Win the trophy. Then go with his head held high. And we can have someone new to direct our agendas to.
It feels right for a parting of the ways win the final or not and I doubt anyone neutral would think otherwise if they’re objective about it.It’s a strange situation to be in.
Will we sack him if he brings us glory? Even for Levy, that would be harsh.
Will he walk if he wins and struts out the place saying I told you so? This is also a big possibility because he’s clever enough to know that his stock would be high. He won’t change how we play. We won’t suddenly turn into the pragmatic Tottenham we saw in Bodo and Frankfurt in the league.
Will he want a crack at champions league if we win the Europa? 100% he will and for me this is the likely outcome and come October if he doesn’t change then it will be curtains.
If we lose he’s gone no matter what anyone thinks.
My feelings on it are that we can’t be where we are in the league. It’s embarrassing and our club should never be in that position. For that I think it’s better that he does go but Ange could give the majority of us our best night supporting this club in 12 days time.
We are one game away from the most disastrous season in about 50 years or a glory night we’ll talk about till we die.
Football is nuts.
It begs the question though, if he can foster such a good spirit and earn that buy in from the players, how bad must the actual coaching/tactics be to result in what we are seeing on the pitch much of the time?Never seen a manager maintain such a strong team spirit in the face of such bad results and football. Whatever he is doing to maintain that shouldn't be impulsively discarded so we can line up another well paid Levy flop. A cup win earns him another season imho.
They beat some good teams to get to the semis, give them their due!Anyone changing their mind on a Premier league coach because of the way we played over two legs against Bodo Glimt is fundamentally not using their head.
Which is fine, football is irrational. But recognise the irrationality. We have fully focused the EL and beaten teams we should be beating. That isn’t a managerial accomplishment.
That lot were terrible. They would be lucky to be anywhere near a championship play off place.
Would you throw 10mil out of the window? Will he walk if he wins and struts out the place saying I told you so?
100% can see why he has to go. Think he'd be gone already if we hadn't stayed in Europe. And if he doesn’t win the trophy? Do you admit you were wrong and that beating some absolute shite meant nothing?
Agendas for fuck sake. Bloke has us 16th. This is so embarrassing. Act like he’s some marginalised victim, the guy has utterly failed.
‘Haters’ - he’s just a football manager doing dreadful. Like many dreadful managers (ten Haag) he’s found a cup route to excuse the league failure. Bodo Glimt is a handy little obstacle.
Because it's about embedding an ethos over several seasons essentially, 'irrespective of circumstance'.I can't work out for the life of me why he hasn't taken the same approach to the PL.
Win the final, see what that attracts!
Combined with the buzz of winning a major trophy, increasing the playing time of younger players next season and having less injuries, i would give us a chance of winning the league with Ange as manager!
Did you see Ange's post presser?
They beat some good teams to get to the semis, give them their due!
100% can see why he has to go. Think he'd be gone already if we hadn't stayed in Europe.
But there has always been an agenda against him. From day one.
The fact is there are people in this fanbase and on here for whom no-one is ever good enough. Ange was on a hiding to nothing with them from the start.
He may lose and those people will bask in the glory of being right while 'their team' misses out again.
Win... And the 'fat, clueless, dreadful, B league' manager brings glory back to this club and will go down in history for it.
Lose and he won't be Spurs manager anymore so I'll wish him the best after getting over my disappointment. Is agenda just an opinion? I had serious doubts about him. I also think he has a personality which is marmitey. I am not a fan and never really have been, you will get different opinions everywhere.
Good for him. It’ll sound great on paper but the reality will be the biggest win being over the worst United in decades who are barely better than us in the league. The EL provides a great avenue for a new narrative but doesn’t change the reality: good teams put us down.
And if he loses, I assume he’s still just a maligned victim?
Lose and he won't be Spurs manager anymore so I'll wish him the best after getting over my disappointment.
And no; an agenda is not an opinion.
An agenda is far more than an opinion.
It's finding a way to try to prove your opinion regardless of occasion or mood.
Like you today. The morning after Spurs make it to a European final.
Your agenda?
To tell is it isn't all that. We beat shit teams. We got lucky against the slightly better ones.
That's an agenda.
Don't worry, Levy will get you out of such sticky situation. It’s a strange situation to be in.
Will we sack him if he brings us glory? Even for Levy, that would be harsh.

Has it though? We had the same last season and the thought was that it took a season for the players to adapt to the methods, and yet here we are again, there was also the notion that once players came back we would improve, we didn't, we got worse.I'm in the same camp now.
The main factor for me is that 1) he - clearly - has the trust of the players, and that 2) it has been a freak season when it comes to injuries. The stats for us when having our main back 4 is solid, and 3) he shows now that he can adjust and adapt.
I don't want us to start from scratch again, given these factors
You talk about they and not we, why is that? The bloke was talking about Bodo beating good teams to get to the Semi but you don't get it, the saddest man on the forum because Spurs have made a European Cup final, it says a lot about youThey didn’t. They beat one decent team, Frankfurt, who have a wage budget equivalent to a Fulham. Or less probably.
Bodo and Alkmaar? Come on. Let’s be serious here.
We did well to sneak past an OK team like Frankfurt but otherwise I find it baffling that we are meant to give him lots of credit for beating these teams. Bodo are absolutely championship tier.
This is such a ludicrous argument to make in his defence whilst we sit in 16th place...Possibly.
But don't you want to give it try? Are you content with fighting for 4th?
