Well, is it any wonder many of us had no confidence we would win when we've been so utter shit all season long? And we were the bookies favourite at the start.

Easy to mock people with the benefit of hindsight now isn't it.

The Europa League draw was made in August, that was at the start of the season, I didn't see anyone on here claiming that we should be winning this comp back then...

Which one of you was gassing up this loser last week, hanging off the end of his cock just because he was being 'straightforward' and 'honest' lol what bollocks

The guy's an utter loser, he's ready to jump ship because the job is too big for him even though he's partly responsible for their form right now.

Why so angry? We just won a huge trophy. Everyone should be delighted now.

We won a trophy and Ange is going. It's literally the best of both worlds.

I do agree Amorim is fucking awful.

You can be Ange out and that’s fine. Totally understandable based on league form.

But those “fans” trying to put down our achievement aren’t fans. They’re gooner trolls.

And if they don’t stop, I’m going to fucking deal with them. Severely.

So fuck off you muggy little cunts. You’re no longer welcome here.

Fucking always some gimp trying to spoil things for everyone else

Qarabag, Ferencvaros, AZ x 3, Hoffenheim, Elfsborg, Bodo = enough said.

Even Roma, Galatasaray and Marmoush-less Frankfurt (who also lost Gotze for a chunk) were hardly PSG...knowing Galatasaray sodomised us and we were lucky not to also lose to Roma.

As for United, I mean...Still, they coulda/shoulda scored at least once last night and might have been a different story had the game gone to ET.

We won it and that's grand. I'll give Ange a couple creds, ditto the players. But unlike you I'm not gonna fool myself into thinking we were Brazil v1970.

To be honest you've been switching sides & opinions more often than a full-time prosie turns tricks, so your takes since EL glory are no surprise.

I think I'd still prefer someone else take the helm as we head into a PL and CL campaign.

But, fuck, why are we even discussing it/fighting about it yet. We're less than 24 hours removed from the trophy! We and he fucking did it. Congrats all around right now!

We were lucky to not lose to Roma??

We had a 2-1 lead in stoppage time, had more “big chances”, more shots, by any metric we should have won that match fairly convincingly.

We won EL and deserved to .
It's not an easy thing to do.
None of the English teams going into it next year will be given more than a 20% chance of winning it - that's the nature of cup football.

Have we been utter dog shit for most of the season and are deservedly 17th yes?
Both things can be true at the same time

I watched the highlights of that game last night in the road to Bilbao video on YouTube. IIRC, we hit the woodwork 3 times in that game alone.

As usual, there's a certain element that use missed chances by the opposition as a stick to beat the club with, whilst conveniently forgetting to use the same metric in the club's favour.

One has to wonder why.

Don’t mind him.

Hes a bitter little troll that likes to rewrite history to piss on our club.
Just winds me up that we won a European trophy less than 24 hrs ago and our own supporters are doing rivals homework for them.

We are going to hear plenty of nonsense now that EL is not a big trophy or whatever the fuck they want to claim now, but we don’t need our own doing their work for them.

So I've been mulling it over all day in amongst enjoying all the content from last night.

I hope he stays.

The guy has just won us a European trophy after calling it last year and taking dog's abuse from all sides since.

Regardless of the ridiculous narrative about the players going rogue, they actually all seem to absolutely love him. The videos of the uncomfortably long hugs...them insisting he's right in the middle of the trophy lift...those players have been right with him all season.

He says he was told when he joined that he had to change the culture around the club. He backed himself with his idea that 3rd or 4th doesn't change anything. We had to win. He's delivered that.

If we sack him after he breaks to drought, we go back to being a banter club and having to start all over again, with most realistic candidates not being 'winners'.

If we keep him and it doesn't work out, then it'll be a new start just a few months down the line.

Or maybe, just maybe, he's right and this is the start of some thing special.

I mean, I don't really know now what the club will do regarding Ange's future.

Fair play to him for saying what he was going to do.

Maybe next season more focus on the league if was he said was true regarding basing everything around the Europa League.

Who knows, all I know is he has done something alot of good managers have failed to do in the recent past and that is to get us over the line.

Players seem on board with him, probably a good sign going forward rather than upheaval.

Need to be better when playing Champions League football next season though.

Keep him. Actually back him this season.

We need players that will make an impact on THIS upcoming season.
