I’m saying you cant replace Ange this summer with a mid table guy who has never won anything and just expect that “buy in would come along pretty quickly”. It doesn’t work that way.

He won a trophy too, against much harder teams than Ange had to beat, and he also won the Europa League at Frankfurt too if that helps? I said a few times on this board over the past couple of months that I thought if we won the EL, Ange would be kept on. I still think that. It's a massive win for the club. Feels like this restores some much needed prestige, glamour and appeal to the club? I also think it's likely to go horribly wrong next season!
