Nah. It's genuine, passionate fans venting their frustration at what they believe would be another uninspiring, underwhelming appointment.Because Its childish and slightly pathetic. Should we have done that with Jol, Redknapp or Poch?
Self preservation BS. We won 3 games on the bounce in Feb so didn’t look like he threw the league at that point. It’s just his way of ever changing narrative and filling a bunch of people along the way. They all lap it up. Never once do they q his comments from before and ask him you said this previously how comes you are now contradicting yourself. It’s like the ‘this is who we are mate’ then playing 10 men behind the ball and only having 25 % poccesion with just 115 passes of which only 61% were accurate. Absolute shocking!Yeah i thought we'd probably be around 6th. The top 6 are all pretty strong but there is no way we should be lower than 7th. People say we dont have the squad but its better than Forest, Bournemouth, Brentford and Fulham. Insane levels of under performance.
How does some melt on twitter know it will be underwhelming? No one has a clue how he will do. He's a decent manager that consistantly has a club with the 18th/19th highest net spend in the prem punching above their weight. Maybe we could get Mourinho back? He's won it all.Serial winners is bullshit, especially at this club. Look at whats worked upto a point and follow that route. For what its worth he wouldnt be in my top 4 but he's clearly a decent coach.Nah. I totally get it tbh.

Well put.
If you prioritize the one competition where glory is possible at the expense of a few quid from league positions, you get sacked by these clowns.
The game might be about glory for fans but not for Levy.
But then why some melts in here, not saying you, are so validated in their points that Frank is better than Ange when we did the double over them? Our squad were shit too, according to them. Did Frank forgot to adjust his tactics against Ange's who was supposed to have been found out since game 11 of 1st year? How does some melt on twitter know it will be underwhelming? I do like Frank, but my worry is that he feels a bit Nuno. Likeable bloke, calm and measured in the way he speaks, and can coach I side pretty well, but potentially unable to take the step up to the next level where consistency is key, that being a consistency in getting results whether you're playing well or not.I think there is now way too much noise about Frank, or more specifically that Postecoglou will be relieved of his duties, to dismiss it as rumour.
What I struggle with is that a fair number of posters are talking Postecoglou and seemingly ignoring what's best for the club. It was the same with Kane. It's just bizarre to me.
It's about where we want this great club to be, and that's all that should matter.
Is Frank good enough? Well, Postecoglou's argument is that it's taken him a long time to get the chance. Frank has been in the PL,knows the gig, handles himself calmly and seems to generate something worthy of a team on the pitch. What's there not to admire and like?
Let's see how this goes , but we need t strip the personality and noise about Postecoglou and remember it's THFC, first, middle and last.

Gary O Neill did the double over Ange, as did Nuno this season. Thats all pretty meaningless. We can summise an educated guess what we'll be like under Ange next season, we struggle to beat good or even semi decent sides, we get shit loads of injuries, we're coming in at roughly a point per game over a 50 game period now. No one knows how Frank will do with more resources. Again i have some doubts about him, i'd be happier with Glasner or Poch but the #notoFrank stuff is just childish. But then why some melts in here, not saying you, are so validated in their points that Frank is better than Ange when we did the double over them? I feel like the dirty little secret is that it's really been all the Americans supporting Ange from the beginning.
His whole devil-may-care schtick both on and off the pitch is very much tuned to an American sensibility. Whereas there's a lot about the standard rhetoric of English football we find baffling.
Starting to agree with this. And it could end up being a whole lot worse.I bet it won’t even end up being Frank anyway. It’s rarely the first one we are linked with that becomes the manager.
Wouldnt surprise me. Suspect we'll hear more on De Zerbi, Marco Silva or a late run on that old favourite Brendan Rodgers.I bet it won’t even end up being Frank anyway. It’s rarely the first one we are linked with that becomes the manager.
Likewise from a purely coaching standpoint but he's liable to fall out with everyone within a few months. Very high maintenance.
